MemberGood evening Rudrasen and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
That way (alongside your website’s URL), I should be able to help provide a solution that works specifically for your website.

MemberGood evening Jens,
Before attempting anything, please make a backup of your Database.
So here’s what the issue is and what the workaround consists of.
The issue:
When the tickets are created with WPML active, they are not sent to the icl_translations DB table (as a normal post would).
This table is the “Map” WPML uses to establish what is the correct language for each post and custom post.As such, they don’t get assigned a language_code, which in turn means that they do not get returned for display because, according to the table WPML uses, they “don’t exist”.
Solution:
Deactivating and reactivating the plugin forces an entry in the icl_translations DB table FOR EACH post found in the wp_posts table. As an alternative, you could also use the debug page that has a button to assign a language to every post.
EACH entry created that way gets the default language assigned as its language_code.
You will then need to go through the icl_translations DB table and make sure each ticket is assigned the correct language code.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Greg and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I’m sorry to hear that some of the strings are not translated for you.
Normally, that should not be an issue. So let’s try to figure out why that is.
The first thing I am noticing from your screenshots is that it looks like you might need to re-scan the events calendar plugins for strings.
The correct amount of strings should look more like:
- tribe-common 449
- the-events-calendar-pro 442
- the-events-calendar457
Secondly, would you mind providing me with your latest complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link as well as your staging site’s URL ?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Finally, if you are looking to use .po and .mo files for our plugins in WPML (instead of translating them by hand), I suggest taking the latest language files from here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
The reason for that is that the latest language files are not necessarily always packaged in the plugins’ lang folders.
Whilst on the topic, I have been advised by our French client that the translation for “Previous Events” ( Précédent Événements ) is not correct.
That is absolutely correct. As a native French speaker myself, I would like to see this corrected.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. In the meantime, you should be able to override the translation by either:
- Re-scanning our plugins for translatable strings using WPML’s interface
- Downloading and editing the latest language files found here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable/fr/default?page=1 if you plan to use the language files instead of WPML’s string translation interface.

Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing while activating Event Tickets Plus.
I would love to help you with this topic.I went ahead and tried to replicate the issue, but unfortunately I was not successful in doing so.
The good news is that this means that we should be able to fix your issue 🙂As a starting point, could you tell me if, during the ticket creation process, there was an attempt to change any of the tickets types after an initial save ? (from RSVP to WooCommerce or vice-versa)
If you don’t mind, it would be great if you could also share a screenshot of your tickets settings for both tickets.
Finally, to your knowledge, is it possible that there were some changes made in the functions.php file of twenty-fourteen ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Tony,
Congratulations on finding the string “All %s”.
As you can see, sometimes a %s is used as a variable for another predefined term.
I think that the full string you are looking for is “%s Category”.Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Philippe and thank you for the information,
As a starting point, you might want to review our WPML compatibility articles (if you haven’t already).
These insure that things run as smoothly as possible:- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
Let me know if you find anything while going through that process.
If that still does not work, I might have a workaround for you. But it involves peeking at your WordPress database while using phpMyAdmin if you are interested.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Rina,
Thank you for the theme files.
The good news is that I was able to successfully create EventBrite synced events with your theme and some of your plugins activated.
To investigate further, it would be awesome if you could provide me with some screenshots:
- The totality of the Edit Event screen when you are trying to create an event with Eventbrite Sync on. I’m especially interested in the Venue, Organizer and EventBrite tickets details.
- The details of the Edit Venue screen of the venue you are using
Furthermore, could you tell me if you still get that message:
- When you create the Venue from scratch in the Venue fields of the Event as you are creating the event (instead of using a pre-existing Venue) ?
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Glenn,
Thank you for the info and the files.
The good news is that I have tested your twenty-thirteen child successfully on my installs. I can see the upload image field on the Community add page.
By the looks of it, there is most likely a plugin conflict at play here. This means that our next step will be to figure out what it is.
My top suspect would be Event Rocket since the plugin is reported to break with the Events Calendar 4.x +
My first recommendation would be to deactivate it to see if it helps. If that does not work, after a backup, could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out ?
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Eran and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You bring a very good point and you are 100% correct about the workaround.
What is going on is that the _EventCost entry in wp_posts for the event is not being updated when you update the price in WooCommerce directly.
I will have to run this by our Dev and see what we can do about that.
In the meantime, short of the workaround you already found, the only temporary solutions would be to:
- Hide the price label where it says free – less than ideal for sure
- Do a template customization to replace the _EventCost price by the actual WooCommerce ticket price from the Database
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Oscar and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you are dealing with while trying to create an event every week. I would love to help you with this topic.
As as starting point, would you mind sending me a screenshot of the Edit event page where you are trying to create that recurring weekly event ?
Furthermore, I notice that you are using WPML. There is a strong chance that this could be the cause of the issue.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but recurring events with WPML is one of the very few features that is not fully supported for Pro. I want to apologize for the inconvenience.
The good news is that we are working on a fix for that as we are speaking.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned! The other good news is that there is a manual workaround for it in the meantime.
That workaround involves being confortable with accessing the Database of your website using phpMyAdmin.Let me know if you would be interested in the breakdown for that ?
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

MemberGood evening David and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I am sorry to hear that we were not able to figure out a solution for you.
Full disclosure, we did have a couple of issues with the Avada theme recently, but we did manage to fix them with the help of the theme authors. It looks like you were unfortunately unlucky in the timing of things. I want to apologize for that.
The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase.
To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Would you mind sharing a screenshot (in a private reply if you prefer) of an “edit event” screen where you are doing this ? I just want to make sure my reply suits what you are doing.
In the meantime, as food for thought, some of our customers are using the Advanced Custom fields plugin to achieve similar results to what you are looking for.
