ParticipantHi,
I’ve tried adding this :
https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/25e98c2dddac3d67a02d2e8e4c8da813but it doesn’t do anything, I’m only getting customer name and customer email address.
Please advise,

ParticipantSorry – I thought this would be in context of the thread I was reading:
My client is also in dire need of being able to export the ticket data that’s been gathered.
Please advise.

MemberGood afternoon Paul and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that the snippet is not working for you.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, I have a couple of follow-up questions to pinpoint this a bit more:
- Are you only using the latest version of the snippet (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/additional-attendee-information-not-in-export/#post-1120330) and not the previous ones or the plugin provided by Christian ?
- Would you mind forwarding me a link to a .zip file containing your WordPress theme AND/OR child theme containing that snippet ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantI can confirm the snippet has no impact and doesn’t correct the export issue. However, we have implemented a fix of our own that does work. It’s based on Event Tickets 4.1.3 and Event Tickets Plus 4.1.2.
Would it help if we shared this with the dev team?
As it stands we can’t update the plugin without losing our fix. It would be great if future updates had a working export as soon as possible.
Paul: If you want to try our fix (unofficial, not supported by TEC, nor by us, no warranties, use at your own risk, etc…) email me at [email protected]. I understand the urgency – we’ve been using this plugin for a baseball league where the season started last week, and for a conference we hosted on May 30th. Sometimes waiting for the official fix is rather perilous.

MemberHello Paul,
Good news! Using your theme and child theme (that includes the latest snippet), I was able to get the CSV export to work exactly as it should.
But, since you are not the only one experiencing difficulties with this, I am trying to pinpoint why that is the case.
At this point, there are a couple of things that would be very helpful:
- Would you mind trying to see if that issue persists with a brand new test event ?
- After a backup, could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to see if there is not another plugin that’s interfering with the export.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience while we try to understand why the snippet does not work on your install.
@Ryan, thank you for your offer and for wanting to help. I will address that in your thread 🙂Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Last night I applied Ryan’s fix, which included going back to Event Tickets 4.1.3 and Event Tickets Plus 4.1.2. Now it works and the client can get their data exported. Since this is an ongoing event, I’m not inclined to change anything else at the moment.
However, I do want to be able to move forward with updates, so I will clone this live site so we can freely experiment with it. After cloning I’ll go back to latest versions of the ticket plugins, and we’ll go from there. Will let you know when the cloned site is ready – but it might have to wait until after business today. (not sure what time zone you are located, but it is currently 9am here)
Thanks,

MemberGood evening Paul,
Thank you for writing back.
I am super stoked that Ryan’s fix worked for you and I am really grateful for that. And you are right, let’s not touch anything that works!
I totally appreciate your willingness to work with us to iron this out.
To answer your question, I am located in Canada 🙂I will gladly wait for a clone whenever it’s ready.
Have a great evening!

ParticipantUggh – the mystery deepens.
I cloned the site, restored the latest versions of both ticket plugins,(which removed Ryan’s fix) added your code snippet, and now it works.
Not what I was expecting.
However, I did all the above when I should have been sleeping, so I’m going to have to look at it again when I have time, and my eyes are wide open.
Have a good weekend everyone!

MemberHey Paul,
This is awesome news, although I have to agree that this is unexpected.
Let me know what you find out from a second pass.
I totally appreciate the fact that you can’t toy with your client’s website.
But, if you were to try it again on the live install, I would suggest doing the following to help:- Deactivate and reactivate the Ticket related plugins
- Reactivate your WordPress theme
- Re-save your permalinks
- Re-save an event where this is happening
Have an awesome week-end and thanks once again!
Best regards,
Geoff B.
