MemberGotcha. Sorry I forgot that.
You might try playing with this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option — to see if changing it makes things work better for you.
If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest asking your theme author how-to for the tribe_events custom post type archive view.
Thanks!

MemberAny tabs, drop-downs, or other navigation would need to be handled by your theme or another plugin.
We enable you to add your categories to a WordPress Menu.

MemberHi, Adam.
The other thread didn’t take the thread to completion, but your report of the same thing helped to confirm it.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
April 26, 2017 at 9:34 am in reply to: Change Image Title on Auto Import From FB #s to Event Title #1274726Cliff
MemberHi, Brandon.
I imported https://www.facebook.com/events/213396159127650/ via one-time import and the Facebook event’s featured image imported like this:
- URL/filename: /wp-content/uploads/554383cc2b0a34da1ec49bd9b7b6a177.jpg
- Title: 554383cc2b0a34da1ec49bd9b7b6a177
- Caption, Alt Text, Description, and Uploaded By are all blank/empty
Therefore, I wasn’t able to replicate what you described, with the Title being facebook_event_213396159127650.
Regardless, the title isn’t as important for SEO purposes as the alt text. Please reference https://yoast.com/image-seo-alt-tag-and-title-tag-optimization/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/seo-image/ used to be a good choice, but I see it hasn’t been updated in a long time. I Googled and found https://codecanyon.net/item/seo-friendly-images-pro-for-wordpress/19296704 but haven’t ever heard of it before. Both of these are third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Nina.
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it doesn’t solve it for you, would you be able to share an annotated screenshot, screen capture video, and/or relevant URLs to clarify exactly what’s happening here?
Cliff
MemberHi, Matthew.
Did you use the datepicker to set that April 26 date from your screenshot?
If not, please do. If you did, please try 2017-04-26 format instead and see if that works in the Preview.
Please go to wp-admin > Events > Help and share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem. In particular, I’m looking for your site’s date format settings.
Thank you.

MemberIt sounds like you do not know what WordPress Multisite is, which is fine. It is a more complex (but not necessarily programmer-level) way to run WordPress. Of course, everything has its pros and cons.
Each of our sales pages (e.g. Events Calendar PRO, Community Events) has all of that product’s purchasing options.
Upgrades from one level to another are handled manually on a case-by-case basis. There’s no time limit.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Cliff
MemberYou bet. Have a great rest of your week.
Cliff
MemberExcellent! Thanks for the update.

MemberHi, Craig. It looks like you’re still on a quite-old version of our plugins.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
Then, please re-share your System Information along with an annotated screenshot and/or link to see exactly what information you’re trying to customize so I can best advise.
Thanks.

MemberHi, D.
Thanks for your question and for considering our plugin suite.
Our multisite license is for a WordPress Multisite installation, not for multiple different websites, each a WordPress single site install.
That would instead be a Business, Agency, or Unlimited level license. If you start with a Business (3 sites) license and grow from there, you can upgrade when needed.
Regarding the actual use case, you might be interested in our Community Events add-on and/or our Multiple Calendars KB article.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Brad. Sorry you’re experiencing this. It’s not something I’ve heard of from other users, but here’s a suggestion:
Our tickets get sent via wp_mail() or WooCommerce’s email code. Therefore, if your tickets are being delivered inconsistently, you might need to install an SMTP plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=smtp (none are supported or guaranteed by us)
To be clear, this isn’t an issue specific to our plugin; email deliverability is an issue at the WordPress-level of your site or possibly even at the domain-level or IP address (if associated with SPAM, accurately or not).
Please let us know if you find out what solution worked for you.
Thanks!

MemberHi, Peter.
Thanks for your detailed message and sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
I see you’re running PHP version 5.3.24. You need a more recent version of PHP to use both WordPress and our plugins. Please reference https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/.
After taking care of that with your web host, here are the rest of the recommended steps:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Anthony. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Could you please provide your full code snippet so I can help with your specific need?
Please share it via https://gist.github.com/

MemberThanks for bearing with me on this issue. We’ve got the bug logged and it should be fixed in an upcoming release. It was a bug introduced as part of the fix I previously mentioned. I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released.
While waiting for the official release, if you’d like to hotfix this yourself (of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site), try changing line 151 of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/Tribe/Submission_Scrubber.php from
if ( is_array( $venue_data ) ) {to
if ( is_array( $venue_data[ $field ] ) ) {If you decide to try it, please let me know how this goes for you.
