Thank you for your testing efforts.

Some users are more detail-oriented than others so it’s hard to know exactly what was and was not done during testing.

To be clear, you tested with all non-Modern Tribe plugins deactivated, using a WordPress default theme (like Twenty Seventeen), and cleared your browser cache (or used a new/fresh browser) and it still was displaying the mobile view instead of the desktop view when on a desktop browser?

And now you have your plugins reactivated–including the caching plugin–but you added the exception for whenever /events is in the URL and you then cleared your existing site cache and then tested from a fresh browser?

I’m sorry you got to this point with your site.

Is there anything more I can help you with on this topic?

    Thank you for your feedback.

Our Event Aggregator (EA) page does state this limitation.

Our CSV import KB article does not mention recurrence, but there is no column for recurrence.

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Have a great rest of your week.

Sorry, but I don’t have any helpful information or recommendation for you regarding membership plugins. I know some people use them, but I’m not informed how they’ve got them setup. Obviously, each site’s setup will be tailored to the site owner’s needs.

Your first link looks like our Photo View: http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/

Your second link is what we refer to as the Single Event page/view.

At wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab, there is an option for how much CSS you want loaded–Skeleton (minimal/none), Full (some/more), or Tribe (most).

However, that setting will not affect the layout of the Single Event view.

You might also play with the “Events template” option in the Display tab. Its results will vary for each theme. If it doesn’t work exactly how you’d like, I’d suggest asking your theme developer how-to for the tribe_events custom post type archive view.

And/Or you should reference our Themer’s Guide for how to customize what data gets displayed where.

While we don’t advocate (nor provide support for) any particular third-party theme, these themes claim integration with our plugin. Some drastically alter the layout of the Single Event view or other views, and some do not. A popular example is Avada. This landing page provides some links to their demos for their Church theme: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/church/the-events-calendar/ (and I’m sure others of their themes have demos as well):

You could make such customizations yourself via our Themer’s Guide, which is how they do it too, but just know that we do not provide support for each user’s customizations.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

It does, but I’m not sure why your theme isn’t picking it up.

I’d suggest asking your theme developer how-to for the tribe_events custom post type archive view.

Sim, our software doesn’t go on “lockdown” or anything like that if you do not renew each year, but, yes, you need to renew each year in order to continue receiving the latest updates and receiving support.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

    Good job!

If you already deactivated the legacy iCal Importer plugin before activating EA (by entering your EA license key at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab — there’s no separate plugin to install), you won’t see the notice in #3.

Once you have EA active, you can go to wp-admin > Events > Import and then the drop down will include more than just CSV as an option.

Do you have iCal Importer settings that you do want to import? If yes, re-activate iCal Importer and either manually move them over (copy the URLs and such) or see if the migration notice will show up for you.

    Gotcha. Thanks for the info.

We’ve seen this happen sometimes when using caching plugins. I see you’re using WP Fastest Cache.

You might try deactivating it and see if that solves it.

If it does, you might want to add an exception for the Month View page/URL, depending on how your caching plugin is able to be configured.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Hi, Avi. Our plugin creates one master calendar, but you can create the appearance of multiple calendars by using Event Categories.

    Examples:

There are additional methods and documentation at our Can You Have Multiple Calendars? KB article.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Fran.

Thanks for considering our product suite.

I’d definitely suggest getting a developer involved… but this may help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/venue-check/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Hi. Thanks for sharing that screenshot and link.

From the page source, it looks like that’s from your theme, not our calendar plugin.

You might try playing with this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option — to see if changing it makes things work better for you.

If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest asking your theme author how-to for the tribe_events custom post type archive view.

    Thanks!

Hi, Jennifer. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

It sounds like you’re experiencing more than one issue here. Plus, none of these sound like a currently known issue, so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Hi, John.

Thanks for considering our plugin suite.

No, this functionality is not built-in at this time.

However, following the steps here may be sufficient for your needs (skip step #3). That thread mentions use of the Better Notifications for WordPress plugin.

Other users successfully use the Follow Ups WooCommerce extension (additional instructions).

Both are third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us. I’m not certain that either can do exactly the date-specific task you’re wanting.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
