Hi wheretogokiddo. Sorry to hear about this. It sure sounds frustrating.
We’ve seen a few other reports of this issue. I do see that we’ve already made note of this internally and our developers are working on it.
I’ve reported this forum ticket to the developers, and we’ll do our best to get back to you once the fix has been added in a future version.
Thanks for reporting this and for your understanding.
CliffMemberHi Arsen. Sorry to hear about your issue. I see you posted in the Community Events forum but it seems you are asking about WooCommerce Tickets so I moved this topic to that forum. Please let me know if this is inaccurate.
Firstly, could you please try to test for theme or plugin conflicts by following this guide? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
If the issue remains unresolved, could you please send me a screenshot of one that is not displaying correctly and also tell me what you’re expecting from that screenshot? (a link would work great too)
CliffMemberHi Alex. Thanks so much for your question.
Yup, it’s super easy to implement. By default, your calendar will appear at example.com/events
More information on customizing this can be found at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/finding-your-calendar-on-the-front-end/
As far as styling goes, that’d be up to a themer or you can use our default styling.
Install the free https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ and play around with it. The paid add-ons just make that free version better (i.e. it’s required to use the add-ons).
Let me know your thoughts…
CliffMemberHi Belinda. Thanks for your pre-sales question about the Facebook Events Add-On.
The answer is yes. It does import each Facebook event’s image and description/details.
The intro video at https://theeventscalendar.com/product/facebook-events/ demonstrates the wp-admin import area but not a single event view or the front-end view so I understand the source of your question.
If you’re interested, you can check out the New User Primer for the Facebook Events Add-On for additional information about importing.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if this resolved your issue.
CliffMemberI forgot another option: use https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-rocket/
It was created by one of our developers but isn’t an official plugin of ours.
One of its stated features is, “Place the main events page on the front page of your blog,” so you might want to give it a try!
CliffMemberHi Carlos. Using the home page as the /events page is not an option with the default settings. However, here are some options I thought of for you:
- Redirect your home page to always go to /events
- You could add a small code snippet to your theme or you could use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-links-to/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
- Display events on your home page and still have the Events view at /events
- You could use widgets and/or shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
- Completely custom coding, for which you’d want to reference the functions at https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/

Please let me know your thoughts and if you decided to pursue one of these routes.
- Redirect your home page to always go to /events
