How can I remove /events/ slug

The url of my site is http://216.172.184.212/~initcoms/vouaxenda.com/events/
Is it possible to remove the events slug so http://216.172.184.212/~initcoms/vouaxenda.com/events/ become http://216.172.184.212/~initcoms/vouaxenda.com as home page?

Hi Carlos. Using the home page as the /events page is not an option with the default settings. However, here are some options I thought of for you:

1. Redirect your home page to always go to /events
   1. You could add a small code snippet to your theme or you could use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-links-to/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
2. Display events on your home page and still have the Events view at /events
   1. You could use widgets and/or shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
3. Completely custom coding, for which you’d want to reference the functions at https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/

I forgot another option: use https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-rocket/

It was created by one of our developers but isn’t an official plugin of ours.

One of its stated features is, “Place the main events page on the front page of your blog,” so you might want to give it a try!
