KeymasterHi Uwe,
Both structured data comes together from different parts. One is the code created by the plugin (like the <script> with schema.org specs in the head) and the other is the structure of a page boiling down to HTML.
From our side we try to make our plugins as universal as possible, so it works well with most any theme out there. This is quite difficult task as you can imagine, as there are a lot of themes out there. What we definitely try to make sure is that we fully support the default themes like twentysixteen and that we follow WordPress Coding standards.
As for some themes, they take different approaches and use different conventions. For example some of them are fully following HTML5 specs, some of them only loosely. And this can result in different level of support for structured data.
Avada is a great theme and the developers are doing a great job in keeping it updated. But I understand that it’s difficult to keep up with all the bits and pieces. I would recommend getting in touch with them with this glitch and see if they can adjust their code / html markup in a way that structured data show up as intended.
I hope this helps, and as always, if you have more questions regarding this topic, I’m happy to help you out.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Lauren,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
Great question you have there, let me try to answer that for you.
Event Aggregator supports the standards of iCal (and other services where it can import from). Customizations are not officially supported.
Also Event Aggregator is a service running on our servers, so converting the data from the provided source and converting it to “The Events Calendar-data” is done on our side, however the data is not stored. We simply do not have the capacity to store all that data that is running through our servers, so all of them are automatically purged after a short period of time.
The only way of working with custom data that comes to my head would be using a csv file, where you can map the columns to the different fields.
Does this clarify the question for you? Let me know.

KeymasterCiao Leonardo,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
Our Event Tickets Plus plugin doesn’t fully support tickets for recurring events. That means that there are _glitches_ like the one you described above.
A possible workaround this would be creating a custom template for the email and removing the date and time from it.
Or another one would be breaking up the event series to single events and setting up a ticket for all of them. If there are a lot of recurrences, this can take quite long.
One more would be adding a required filed to the ticket, where the buyer would need to fill out which date he wants to purchase the ticket to.
Although this might not be the answer you were expecting, I still hope it helps.
Let me know if you have other questions.

KeymasterWelcome back Ed!
Thanks for reaching out with your question.
I’m sorry to say, there is no fix for this at the moment. There is no bug related to this. Importing events doesn’t support recurring event / recurrences. So if you have recurring events set up that you would like to import, they will be imported as single events.
I hope that clarifies. Let me know if you still have questions.

I just wanted to check in with you if everything is going OK or you still need help with this issue after updating to the latest versions of our plugins.

KeymasterHello Janneke,
Thanks for using our plugins! I’m sorry you are experiencing an issue with payment.
It looks like you might have an issue with either WooCommerce or the payment gateway you are using, which is not related to others.
To be able to confirm that I would recommend you to set up a basic WooCommerce product (try with a simple product and a virtual product as well) and try to make a purchase of that. If you are experiencing the same issue, then it is likely a WooCommerce or payment gateway problem. In this case unfortunately I will not be able to help you and I would advise you to turn to WooCommerce support for help.
If you are not having issues when trying to buy a WooCommerce product, then we might be facing a bug and in that case we will look into the issue.
Let me know how the test purchase turns out.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello John and thank you for using our plugins!
I’m really sorry about the issues with the Event Aggregator imports and I totally understand your disappointment and frustration.
I would be happy to help you get down to the bottom of this so you can have your site working the way you want it.
To be able to give you better support could you please share your system information with me with your next reply? Here’s a nice guide on how you can do that. Thanks in advance!
Would it be possible for you to share with me the URLs where you are trying to import from?
I would also like to ask for 2 screenshots:
- The import history page
- Event Aggregator System Status which is at the bottom of Events > Help page
Thanks!
Event Aggregator import works based on cron jobs, which eventually require people visiting your site. If there are no visits, the cron jobs don’t kick in. Just like the WordPress updates.
If you did have visitors, then there could be that the cronjobs didn’t fire because they are limited by another plugin.
There are 2 things I would like to recommend.
1. Run a test for conflicts based on this handy guide and see if that turns up something.
2. Check your scheduled imports one-by-one if they work alone or not. If they work alone, then try having 2… then 3… and see what that gives.
Looking forward to helping you with this.

KeymasterHi Saraliina,
Good to hear this fixed the timepicker.
I’ll see what can be done with the datepicker part. Will get back to you soon.

KeymasterHallo Uwe,
We had some discussions and ran some test on my local site with twentyfifteen and the Divi themes.
The “startDate” data is properly generated for me for a random event and it is defined in the <head> of the page like this:
<script type="application/ld+json"> [{"@context":"http://schema.org","@type":"Event","name":"Check the order","description":"<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nam in tincidunt erat, vel pretium dolor. Praesent condimentum sapien quis justo vestibulum ultricies. Aenean vehicula justo pharetra, porta mi vel, pretium sem. Etiam tincidunt, ipsum vel luctus facilisis, neque urna tristique purus, et vehicula tortor ipsum vel dolor. Etiam mollis turpis nibh, nec sodales risus eleifend … <a href="http://tec.andrasguseo.com/event/check-the-order/2017-04-11/" class="more-link">Continue reading <span class="screen-reader-text">Check the order</span></a></p>\\n","image":"http://tec.andrasguseo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/facebook_event_630850153762887.jpg","url":"http://tec.andrasguseo.com/event/check-the-order/2017-04-11/","startDate":"2017-04-11T14:00:00+00:00","endDate":"2017-04-11T17:00:00+00:00"}] </script></head>I also see that for your page, so that data is fine there.
The difference I found between twentyfifteen and your theme is how the event is wrapped.
Twentyfifteen does this:
<article id="post-0" class="post-0 page type-page status-draft hentry"> [...] <div id="tribe-events-content" class="tribe-events-single">While your theme does it like this:
<div id="tribe-events-content" class="tribe-events-single vevent hentry">So that could possible be a cause.
Did you manage to test it with a default theme?

KeymasterHello Brian,
I’m sorry this didn’t get fixed yet. The POT files are automatically generated based on the source when we are creating the plugin packages. We’ve been experiencing some bugs with this earlier this year, and while we have managed to get it fixed to most part, it seems there is still some glitch there. I’ll dive deeper into this so we can polish up our translations.
Thanks for reporting this and your seemingly infinite patience. I believe we have gone a long way in terms of translations since last year. Needless to say you were and are a major help in this for us, the German speaking community and inadvertently the non-English speaking community as well!
Cheers,
Andras

KeymasterHello Steve,
Sorry for the long radio silence, our whole team was out for a week so work and the threads piled up a bit.
We are still trying to nail down the issue. I would like to ask for a bit more patience. Thanks!

Just to let you know, the “Orders” will be fixed in the next release.
For the “Buy a license” updating your plugins\the-events-calendar\common\lang\tribe-common-de_DE.po from the .pot file in the same directory (and then translating the string) should do the trick.
Thanks for pointing these out!
Cheers,
