    Hey Kat,

Sorry about the troubles with the update. I’m happy to hear that you can access the back-end.

My hunch is something went South during the update process, so first I would recommend to deactivate and delete TEC and EC Pro, get a fresh version and re-install them to make sure that all files are there and up-to-date.

Let me know if that helps.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There is no built-in option for that, but I believe that could be easily developed / customized.

You can use the documentation or user roles and capabilities.

And you will need to create one or some template overrides. The best place to start for this is our Themer’s Guide – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

For example on the single event view you will need to create an override for this file:

    wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php

And if you want to hide the content for visitors then you will need to wrap the_content() in an if statement checking for the user role.

Hope this helps you get started. Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi,

    Your javascript console says this:

    <span class=”message-body-wrapper”><span class=”message-flex-body”><span class=”message-body devtools-monospace”><span class=”objectBox objectBox-string”>Google Maps JavaScript API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#api-not-activated-map-error</span></span></span></span>

Please follow that URL and see if that can help you solve it.

You can open your javascript console with F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I on Chrome / Firefox, Option + Cmd + J on Safari, and then switch to the console tab.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Paul,

My colleague got back to me with the info that she sent out a new code to your email last night.

Please check your inbox, and if you don’t see it there, please, also check your spam / junk folder.

Let me know if you find it.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Tara,

    Thanks for reaching out!

At the moment Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus – so RSVPs and Tickets – do not have full support for recurring events.

If you have a recurring event and you set up an RSVP for that, then the same RSVP will be shown on all instance pages. So all the instances use the same RSVP.

If you would like to distinguish events in the RSVPs, then you could do that by adding an extra field to the form where users would have to choose the date. You can do that when creating / editing an RSVP, click on ‘Attendee Information’ and you can add the fields there.

I hope it’s understandable what I explained. If you have any further questions, let me know.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I checked that page you referenced and I do see your calendar with some events in it.

Could you share with me more details and screenshots if you are still experiencing the issue?

    Thanks,

    Andras

    Hey Robbie,

Yes, the ics files are static in that sense. If you add new events to the calendar, then you will need to download that ics file again.

Also how do I respond to the response emails sent it tells me β€œThe Help Desk and User Reference were not included in the subject line of the email reply. β€œ

Since you do not have a license that ensures you premium support in our helpdesk you cannot reply to that email. (Theoretically you can but it will be sucked up by the black whole of the Internet.)

We are unfortunately unable to provide support through our Pre-Sales forum channel, but you can head over to The Events Calendar WordPress.org support forums for assistance and answers.

If you do have a PRO license, you can log into your account and get assistance through our help desk.

If your other ticket where Courtney replies is not closed, you can continue there.

Thanks for understanding and good luck resolving your issue.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi quinnfinity,

To be blunt, you are wishing on a star. πŸ™

I’m sorry, at this moment it is not possible to import custom fields from Outlook.

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

    Okay, that helps.

Normally we do not do this, but I managed to throw this together.

Check and let me know if that helps.

In the article about the Defender plugin the first thing recommended was:

Most possible this would be “Prevent PHP execution”.

I know there is an option for that in iThemes Sec. Check.
