MemberHi Christine!
Thanks for coming back with all that information.
This looks like a conflict with your theme somehow.
Could you please try using the Default Events Template by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings > Display tab and see if there is any difference?
If no difference, then try flushing your permalinks structure. You can do so by going to WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks and simply click Save Changes.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHey Sam!
It’s great to know you could solve the issue!
Thanks for following up and for sharing the code. I’m sure other users will find it useful.
I’ll close this thread now, but feel free to open a new topic if anything comes up and we’ll be happy to help. 🙂

MemberHi Joanna!
Thanks for testing that out and for following up with this.
It’s good to know you could narrow down the problem to a conflict with PB SEO Friendly Images plugin.
We are not aware of any conflict with that plugin, and I could not replicate the same issue with it. That looked like it could be a Javascript conflict somehow.
I see you marked this “Resolved”, but if you want us to look further into this conflict, please share with us a link to a page where we can see the problem for ourselves so we can have a closer inspection, or let us know more about how we can reproduce this on our end and we’ll try to find the source of it.
Please let us know about it.
Thanks,

MemberHi James!
I’m sorry for a bit of delay in getting back to you. I had to reach out to the team for some help with this.
Don’t worry about reaching out to us via email. I was able to take care of this. Let me tell you the details:
It seems there was a problem when you renewed your license that somehow caused the license to be added twice in the same order, thus also charging you double the amount for it. We are already investigating why this happen so we can fix it.
We’ve gone ahead and issued a partial refund for that order (corresponding to one of the licenses for $89) and the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.
You can get your license keys in your licenses page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/ and also see and edit the status of your subscriptions from https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/subscriptions/
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi Sian!
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
With Event Tickets Plus you have the ability to assign a “ticket header image” for your events so that they display on emailed tickets.
Unfortunately, there is no built-in way to customize each of your events ticket emails. However, you could achieve that with some custom coding.
As a reference, let me point you to the following article that will get you started on how you can customize our templates, including the ticket email template > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
If you also want to show event specific information in the WooCoomerce order emails, you can do so in a similar way the following extension does by adding event and attendee information > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/
I hope that helps! Let me know if any follow up questions.

MemberHi John!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I’d be happy to help you with this topic.
We have an extension that allows you to modify the “Events”, “Venues” and “Organizers” labels > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/change-labels-events-venues-organizers/
You only have to download it and install it just like any other plugin. Once activated navigate to WP Admin > Events > Settings > Display to find the options.
I hope it helps 🙂

MemberHi Jordi!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing problems when updating your plugin. Let me help you troubleshoot the issue.
First, please let me note that we deleted your license key from your post as this is a public help desk.
Could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
Are you having problems when trying to update your plugin or after the installation has been made?
Remember you can always download our plugins from your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ and perform manual updates > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/
Could you please let us know more about the error messages you are having? You can send us a screenshot of the error messages.
Let us know about that.
Thanks,
VictorVictor

MemberHi Joanna!
I’m sorry you are experiencing that problem.
To help you troubleshoot the issue, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
Also, this can be related to a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.
When coming back, please also share with us, in a private reply if you’d like, a link to the page where you are using the shortcode in.
Thanks,

MemberHi Christine!
I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.
First, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
I see you have tried the following:
- Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
- Switched to a default theme? No
Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?
If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting
Please let us know about that.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Ray!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Please let me note this forum is limited to pre-sales questions. If you have an active license for our plugins please login to your account and post in our help desk to receive premium support.
You are right about that setting to be something from PayPal so I’d suggest you get in touch with them and search through their documentation. There is no setting on our end to modify that functionality.
I hope that helps 🙂

MemberHi Doris!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with that issue.
Having a closer look at your site, I can see some console errors showing up and seems the problem is coming from our scripts and files being minified.
You shouldn’t be minifying our plugins scripts as they are already minified. Learn more about it > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/
I can see that you are using WP Rocket, which I think has the a minification feature. Please try disabling this and see if any changes.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Aaron!
Thanks for following up.
I’ve just checked the report for this issue and it seems one of our developers already proposed a fix for it, but unfortunately it won’t be available in the next maintenance release, due to some other priorities involved.
Rest assured we will let you know when the fix is available for you to try.

MemberHi Jennifer!
Thanks for following up with this.
Glad to know you could solve the email issues. I had a close look at your system information and couldn’t find anything strange that would indicate an error, so you should be good.
I’m not really sure what could be when the users “complain they are unable to log in and that they get errors”. Did they mention any specific error or problem they were having?
Regarding the slow down in performance, we have a great article that will get you started on Performance Considerations you should know about. After that, if you decide to implement a caching system then you can move to these articles: Caching: What, when and how and Caching month view HTML in transients
Finally, there is a good article George put up here that groups a set of developer plugins. It’s a bit more technical than the others but will definitely be of help if you are into development.
I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up questions.
Best,
