Thanks for following up.
I’ve just checked the report for this issue and it seems one of our developers already proposed a fix for it, but unfortunately it won’t be available in the next maintenance release, due to some other priorities involved.
Rest assured we will let you know when the fix is available for you to try.

I wanted to check in again. It’s been almost 2 months since I first reported this issue! Any update on when that proposed fixed might be implemented? And/or is there a code snippet I can add to the current version of the plugin to fix the problem in the meantime?

I tried replacing the file and it fixed the problem (I looked at the code in a diff as well, and the change makes logical sense, I’m happy to say). Thank you for providing us with this!
Will this fix be released in the next release of Events Calendar PRO? Or will the next release overwrite this change?

Thanks for your confirmation. Glad it worked out for you! 🙂
It seems most likely the fix will included in our next release of Events Calendar PRO, but I can’t really commit to it. The fix still has to undergo a series of steps (QA, smoketest) to make sure it works well in conjunction with other fixes.
Rest assured we’ll notify you in here once the fix is released. You can also check the changelog before updating the plugin to see if the fix is present.
