The setup issue may be within PayPal. But in trying out the registration, the PayPal checkout page *forces* the registrant to create a PayPal account.

In researching this, I looked under “My Selling Tools” in PP’s setup. Under “Website Preference” I’ve changed the option for “PayPal Account Optional” from Yes to No and back to Yes . . . it seems to have no effect. No matter what that setting is, I am forced to create a PP account before I can check out.

They should be given the option of using *A* PayPal account if they wish, or to simply pay by credit card WITHOUT having to create a PP account.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

    Hi Ray!

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Please let me note this forum is limited to pre-sales questions. If you have an active license for our plugins please login to your account and post in our help desk to receive premium support.

You are right about that setting to be something from PayPal so I’d suggest you get in touch with them and search through their documentation. There is no setting on our end to modify that functionality.

    I hope that helps 🙂

    Best,
    Victor
