    Hi Herschel,

Thanks for upgrading to Events Calendar Pro!

First, you will need to download and install the plugin. This article has instructions on how to do this.

Next, you will need to input your license key so that you can update Pro automatically. This article has instructions on getting your key and adding it to your site.

Finally, you can configure the settings and start creating recurring events:

    Hi Herb,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Unfortunately we are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum, but I would recommend taking a look at the following articles for some troubleshooting steps related to the map not displaying:

    Google Maps Not Showing Up
    Testing for conflicts

I would also recommend reviewing this article to make sure that your API key is set up correctly.

If you need additional help with this, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Alternatively, our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Ronny,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

The free version (The Events Calendar) comes with list, month, and day views. Events Calendar PRO adds some extra views – map, photo, and week.

Regarding filtering, the default filters available for all views are a keyword search, date, and location. Filter Bar adds several more filters. There is not an option to add teacher names by default, but you can use the organizer field for this and even change the “organizer” label to “teacher” if you would like. This article has some more info on how Filter Bar works.

You can see all of our premium plugins in action on our demo site, wpshindig.com. We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Filter Bar or any of our other premium add-ons for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Event Tickets Plus requires either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to be installed and active in order to create paid tickets. Can you try activating either one of these and let me know if you are then able to create tickets?

I would also recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some good info on getting up and running with Event Tickets Plus and Community Tickets:

New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus

Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus

    Managing Your Orders and Attendees

    New User Primer: Community Tickets

    Hi Mike!

You can add content to this page by doing a template override. Our themer’s guide has instructions on this, and the template you need to copy can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php.

We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

There is not an out-of-the-box way to do this, but we do have a free extension that will let you change the names of events, organizers, and venues quickly and easily in the settings. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi there,

The cost field is actually hidden by default when Event Tickets Plus or Eventbrite Tickets is active. This is done to prevent any confusion from having a “cost” field separate from the prices displayed with tickets. However, you can get the field back with this free extension. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Max!

It looks like your Event Aggregator license expired today. You can continue importing by renewing the license, which you can do from the License Keys page of your account. This article has some additional information on renewing your license.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi Alycia,

I’ll be happy to help you out with this!

To create a recurring event, you will need to click the “Schedule multiple events” button that appears under the time settings on the event edit screen. You will then have the option to set multiple recurrence rules for that event. This article has some more details on how recurring events work.

Can you please clarify what you mean by adding events that don’t link to anything? If you mean removing the link to the single event page from the different calendar views, then you can do this via a template override. Our themer’s guide has some more info on overriding templates. We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Event Calendar Subscription #1480771

    Hello,

Just to clarify, you did purchase the Events Calendar Pro product, meaning that the plugin is yours, even if you do not renew the subscription. The subscription entitles you to premium support here on the Help Desk, as well as plugin updates. This means that as long as your license is active, you will have access to the most recent versions of Pro. If the subscription expires and you do not renew, then the plugin will still work on your site. However, continuing to update WordPress, your theme, and other plugins will likely eventually lead to compatibility issues with Pro if you do not update it.

If you would still like to go ahead with the refund, just let me know and I can process it for you!

    Hi Steven,

I’m so sorry for the delayed response here – this thread was not showing up as waiting on my end. I apologize about that!

Try adding this snippet instead. I tested this out in my local environment, and it is working on my end. Please let me know if this does what you are looking for!

    Thanks,
