Alias "Events" to another term

I want to universally replace the word Events with another term. I did update the slug for events and the URL updated however the change is not universal, for example I still see “find event” and “upcoming events” in the navigation controls rather than “find bonspiel” and “upcoming bonspiels”.

Hello,

There is not an out-of-the-box way to do this, but we do have a free extension that will let you change the names of events, organizers, and venues quickly and easily in the settings. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?

This is a BIG help and I’d vote to have it included in the base offering rather than as an extension.

It did about 99% of the trick but I noticed that the new terminology is not used in the filters section. If that can’t be fixed somehow I’ll take it as is for now.

I’m glad that this extension is helping! If this is a feature that you would like to see added in a future release, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

Are you referring to Filter Bar? I just tested this out on my end, and I did see that some of the filter labels in Filter Bar still said events. However, you can change these labels under Events > Settings > Filters. Can you give this a try and let me know if this works (or if you are referring to something else)?
