KeymasterHi Syaiful,
Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus!
You can indeed collect this information for each attendee using the custom ticket fields that come with Event Tickets Plus. You can export this information to a CSV file – the event category is not included by default, but you could add it via a customization.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Event Tickets will let users RSVP (for free) to events, and you can limit the capacity. You can add RSVPs directly to events and would need to create a separate ticket on each class (event), which would allow users to register for that specific class.
If you need more advanced functionality, like the ability to collect additional information from each attendee that registers, Event Tickets Plus can help. Both plugins have great attendee management capabilities.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! You can also download and test Event Tickets for free 🙂 Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Adrián,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Using Event Tickets Plus, you can set the capacity for each of your events, and you will see who has registered on the Attendees page for that event. This article has some more details on how this works. Users will automatically receive an email with their tickets when they register. There isn’t an out-of-the-box way to send additional emails to event attendees, but you can export the attendee list and import those email addresses into another platform to send out further emails.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by a user knowing the state of the event automatically. Users will be able to see the event on your site at any time, and if you require users to login to submit events, they will be able to see and edit their reservation details on each of the events.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Christoph,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately Filter Bar cannot currently be displayed with the shortcode. I’m sorry for the bad news there! We do have a feature request open for this, so I would recommend casting your vote there, which helps us gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello Jurgen,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue with recurring events – this was a known issue, and we just put out a maintenance release yesterday that should address it. From what I’m seeing on my end, it looks like you’re currently running The Events Calendar 4.6.23 and Events Calendar Pro 4.4.32 – can you try updating to TEC 4.6.24 and Pro 4.4.33, clear out any caching you might be doing on your site (on your server or via a plugin), and try again?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you’re running into further issues here…Can you please clarify what you mean by entering a link on the November 11th event? When you came back to the event you updated, it sounds like you were not seeing a duplicate – were the additional events that you had created using the “Once” rule no longer there?
If this is the case, can you try creating a fresh series for this event using the same “Once” rules, saving, and updating the event to see if you are running into issues with the new series?
Jennifer
KeymasterI’m glad to hear that everything seems to be working now! If you do run into any other issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

KeymasterHi Shane,
Tickets in Event Tickets Plus are WooCommerce products – when you create a new ticket, what you are creating is a somewhat customized WooCommerce simple product. So, you would not need a separate WooCommerce product for tickets.
ET+ does come with the ability to collect additional information for each attendee. However, if you are using the full WooCommerce product page to sell tickets instead of the default ticket form, these fields would not show up there. You would need to do an integration to get them to work with the product page.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

KeymasterHi Theo,
Thanks for purchasing Pro! I’ll be happy to see if I can provide some additional recommendations here, but can you please open up a new thread here (using the login that you used to purchase Pro)? We’ll be happy to see if we can assist you further over there. Please link back to this thread when you open up the new one.

KeymasterHi Yvonnie,
I’m sorry that you’re running into these issues, but I’ll be happy to help you out.
For the first issue with the highlighted day, can you verify that the “Timezone” setting under Settings > General is set to the correct timezone (using the location timezone instead of the UTC offset)?
Regarding the wrong month displaying on mobile, I tested this out locally, but I am not seeing October on my end. Can you tell me which OS & browser you were seeing this in so that I can test it out there? We do have some tutorial-style articles in our knowledgebase, but regarding this topic specifically, this could be related to a conflict with something else on your site, as I am not able to reproduce this locally and am not currently seeing other reports of a similar issue. You can test for this by running through the instructions here. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply. If you don’t have a testing site, the free Duplicator or WP Staging plugins can help you get one set up.
Can you also share your full system info with me?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Shane,
Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus! It does not come with built-in functionality to handle multiple ticket discounts, minimum ticket purchases, packages, or deposits, but since tickets are WooCommerce simple products, they do typically work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions like WooCommerce Deposits. For the other features, I would recommend taking a look at these extensions, which should be able to help you get this set up the way you need. These extensions do not integrate automatically with the default ticket form, but you can instead use the full WooCommerce product page to sell tickets.
We don’t have a trial period, but we do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. So if you’d like to test out Event Tickets Plus with some of these extensions, feel free to do so!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Jeremy,
I’m sorry for the delay here, we’ve had a higher than normal volume of threads in the forums this week.
We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations like this, but I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction here!
Tickets (paid and free) can be added to events and other post types, like posts or pages. You might have a “sign-up page” that you create the tickets on initially, where users can go to add themselves to the waitlist. If you later want to move these attendees to an actual event, you can move the entire ticket or individual attendees for that ticket to an event with a date (this article has some more info on moving attendees and tickets). If you wanted to link to your waitlist page on the main events page (so that you can also display events that do have a hard date), you could add the link to that page via a template override.
Another option would be to hide the dates with CSS or remove them entirely via a template override for each of the views you where you don’t want them to display.
Regarding the “Free” text, you can remove that with CSS or by using one of these snippets (in the functions.php file of your child theme).
Please let me know how this works for you and if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
October 3, 2018 at 4:29 pm in reply to: I need a theme that integrates directly with Paypal. #1636844Jennifer
KeymasterHi Vickie,
Are you trying to find a theme that will work well with Event Tickets (which integrates directly with PayPal to allow you to sell tickets on your site). We have a list of recommended themes for our plugins here (and some other tips on theme compatibility). Ultimately, you would need to do a test run with whichever theme you choose to make sure that our plugins will work well with any theme that you are using. If you’re interested in one of our premium plugins like Event Tickets Plus, we do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to take those for a test run as well!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
October 3, 2018 at 4:19 pm in reply to: I installed the free version of Event Ticket, why RSVP cannot be saved. #1636839Jennifer
KeymasterHi Calvin,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our Event Tickets Plus forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer
