KeymasterHi Matthew,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can use the checkbox or radio fields and set them to “required”, but unfortunately there isn’t currently any validation that will check to see if the right answer is selected before letting the user proceed. You can however use a required checkbox field with one option to ask users to verify that they have read the terms and conditions. Here’s how that would look on the backend and frontend.
This could also be done with a customization. If you’d like to give it a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start! We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.
I would also recommend posting this request in our Feature Ideas Forum. This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better solution for you here, but I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ryan,
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately there isn’t currently an out of the box way to charge site fees without them going directly to the site admin. Sorry for the bad news there!
I would recommend taking a look at this article for more info on setting up fees and payments with Community Tickets if you haven’t seen it already.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Libby,
Thanks for reaching out!
Photo view is indeed still available in Pro, but I see that your other Pro views have disappeared as well (week and map). I also don’t see Pro listed in your system information, so I am wondering if it may have gotten deactivated somehow during/after the update. Can you please send me a screenshot of Pro in the Plugins section of your Dashboard?
If the plugin is indeed active, then I would recommend reinstalling it, which you can do by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi JW,
Glad to hear you got the bundle uploaded and activated! It looks like Cliff is helping you out in your other thread for this issue, so we’ll see you over there. If you need help with any other issues in the meantime, please feel free to open up a new thread!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Kelsey,
It is a bit strange that you aren’t seeing the button! I would recommend re-installing Pro, which you can do by following these instructions. I also noticed that you are using an older version of The Events Calendar (4.5.11). Can you try updating to the latest version (4.6.1)? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section, you can update it manually by following the instructions I linked to above.
Just to cover our bases, it would also be a good idea to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins – basically switch to a default theme and deactivate all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro and then reactivate them one at a time until the issue reappears. It would be a good idea to have WP_DEBUG enabled while doing this testing, and please copy/paste any error messages you get into your reply. If you need a testing environment to do this in, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your site that you can use for testing.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
CSV imports are actually included with our free plugin The Events Calendar, so feel free to test them out! Events Calendar Pro has some cool features like additional fields, shortcodes, additional views (map, photo, and week), recurring events, and more, but it actually does not have any extra functionality for importing events. To find out more about CSV imports, I’d recommend taking a look at this article, which has some step-by-step instructions on importing a CSV file, as well as this one, which has some additional information on how CSV imports work plus some example files.
If you are interested in importing from other sources, such as Google and Facebook, then definitely check out Event Aggregator. The following articles should give you a good idea of how EA works and some of the features it comes with:
Managing Your Scheduled Imports in Event Aggregator
Event Aggregator Import Settings
How Do Event Aggregator’s Import Limits Work?
Importing Events from a Feed or URL
If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Rene,
Thanks for reaching out! Can you try adjusting the settings under Events > Display (please see this article for more information)? These have an effect on how much the theme influences the events pages, and adjusting them could resolve this issue.
If adjusting those settings doesn’t make a difference, you can also make the changes with CSS. This guide has some good info on how to do this, but if you do need to go this route and would like help, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Abigail,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Paul,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out! First, can you please send me a screenshot of Events Calendar Pro on the Plugins page of your WordPress Dashboard? It’s not showing up in your system information, and it’s possible it was deactivated during the update.
If you can verify that Pro is active, the next step would be to try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins. It could be that the most recent version is conflicting with something else on your site. If you don’t have a testing site already, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Gary,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Events created through Community Events will be the same as other events created on your site, as will tickets created on those events. So, these tickets will have the same QR code check-in functionality as the events you create on the backend.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to give Community Events, Community Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus a test run! If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for sending the links! I took a look, and the events appear to be showing up correctly on my end (see screenshot). Were you able to get this resolved, or are you referring to another calendar view or page on your site besides the main calendar?
To share your system information, you can check the box under Events > Help > System Information (see screenshot), or you can copy the information in the black box under Events > Help > System Information and paste it into a private reply here.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Theresa,
Thanks for reaching out! This was actually a known issue in previous versions of the Events Calendar, but upgrading to the most recent version (4.6.1) should resolve this issue for you. Make sure to clear any caching you have on your site after updating, and disable the “Enable month view cache” option under Events > Settings > Display. Once your events are showing up again, you can re-enable this setting.
If you need further assistance with this, will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

KeymasterHi Steven,
Absolutely! I took a screenshot of the event edit screen so that you can see how this would work. You can set multiple recurrence rules on the same event, so you can make it repeat whenever you would like. You can also set exclusions to prevent it from repeating on a certain day.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ginnie,
Occasionally users run into issues with Yoast (but these usually have to do with incorrect/broken URLs), page builders sometimes conflict with our plugins, and caching plugins can cause problems as well, although these can usually be fixed by changing the settings within the plugin. There are other plugins and themes that users have reported conflicts with, but this is the first time I have seen a user running into this particular issue.
Were you able to identify any conflicts during testing? If you don’t already have a testing environment, I would recommend the WP Staging plugin – it will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Thanks,
Jennifer
