Events Pro not working

    Hello,

    I have uploaded the events pro, and it says that it is running but it is still not allowing me to use the PRO features. Any suggestions? Not sure what I am doing wrong.

    Hi Kelsey,

    Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you’re having a hard time getting set up with Events Calendar Pro, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.

    First, I’d recommend taking a look at this article, which has some great info on getting up and running with Pro.

    Next, Can you send me a screenshot of Pro in the Plugins section of your WordPress Dashboard? Could you please also tell me which features you’re unable to access? Some of the features that come with Pro include additional calendar views (week, map, and photo), additional fields, and the ability to add recurring events. Are any of these working for you?

    Unfortunately, none of those features are working for me.

    Hi Kelsey,

    Thanks for sending that screenshot! It looks like it is installed and activated, so you should see some of the following:

    Can you please provide some more details on what isn’t working? Are these not showing up at all, or are you getting errors when you click on them?

    Can you try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? Please make sure you have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing. If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

    I am not seeing the schedule multiple events button! I am not sure why. I
    have tested. I see the other two though.

    Hi Kelsey,

    It is a bit strange that you aren’t seeing the button! I would recommend re-installing Pro, which you can do by following these instructions. I also noticed that you are using an older version of The Events Calendar (4.5.11). Can you try updating to the latest version (4.6.1)? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section, you can update it manually by following the instructions I linked to above.

    Just to cover our bases, it would also be a good idea to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins – basically switch to a default theme and deactivate all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro and then reactivate them one at a time until the issue reappears. It would be a good idea to have WP_DEBUG enabled while doing this testing, and please copy/paste any error messages you get into your reply. If you need a testing environment to do this in, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your site that you can use for testing.
