ParticipantI have been creating individual events on the calendar but noticed that its says Recurring Event (See all).
See screenshot. The website is hidden so cannot provide you with a direct link.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks

KeymasterHi Ginnie,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on! First, can you try updating to the latest version of Events Calendar Pro (4.4.18) and see if this is still occurring? Could you also send me a screenshot of the edit screen (event details section) for an event this is happening on?
Thanks!
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ginnie,
Unfortunately your screenshot didn’t come through. Please note that if you are replying via email, attachments don’t work. You’ll need to reply via and attach the screenshot directly on the site.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Ginnie,
Thanks for sending that! It looks like everything is configured correctly. However it is pretty odd that events would be showing up as recurring without actually being recurring.
Could you try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins to see if this still happens with a default theme enabled and all other plugins disabled? Also, what happens when you click the “See All” link on an event that isn’t actually recurring?

ParticipantHi,
Are there any specific plugins that you guys know off that don’t work with the calendar?
Nothing happens when you click See All, it does not link anywhere.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Ginnie,
Occasionally users run into issues with Yoast (but these usually have to do with incorrect/broken URLs), page builders sometimes conflict with our plugins, and caching plugins can cause problems as well, although these can usually be fixed by changing the settings within the plugin. There are other plugins and themes that users have reported conflicts with, but this is the first time I have seen a user running into this particular issue.
Were you able to identify any conflicts during testing? If you don’t already have a testing environment, I would recommend the WP Staging plugin – it will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantOK I have tested the plugins and those are not the issue. When I deactivated the Events Pro that fixed the issue but then again it would as PRO is what deals with the recurring elements.
I did deactivate by theme and it seen to remove that Recurring text but it cause major problems for me when I activated the theme again as I lost of my theme settings.
How can we work out what is causing the problem, I am not going to replace the theme. Is there another way we can work this out?
I can provide access to the website if that helps?
Thanks

KeymasterHi Ginnie,
I’m sorry about the delayed response here, but it sounds like you were able to get individual events displaying properly with a default theme enabled? If this is the case, then it sounds like there is something in your theme conflicting with Events Calendar Pro. While we are limited in the amount of support we can provide for theme conflicts, I’ll be happy to take a look if you could send me a link that I can view from the front end (we are currently not able to login to user sites)!
I noticed that you are using a child theme…you may try switching back to the parent theme (Veda) and see if you are still running into the same thing…If not, then there may be a customization in your child theme that is actually causing the conflict. When doing testing like this, it is always a good idea to use a testing environment (WP Staging provides a quick way to make a copy of your site that you can use for testing).
Thanks,
Jennifer
