    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out! The price range that is displayed on the front end automatically uses the cheapest priced ticket for the minimum and the highest for the maximum – since RSVPs are inherently free (these ticket types cannot be sold), “free” will show up as the minimum in the range. If you would like to change this, you could do so with a customization (see our themer’s guide for more info on customizing our plugins).

You are correct that you should be able to add two separate tickets with different start and end times, and they should not show up on the front end outside of those times. I tested this out on my end, and I got the same thing as you…the RSVP was showing up before the start sale date. I logged this in our system for our developers to look into, and I linked this thread to our internal ticket. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience, but please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Great! Since this has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. Feel free to open a new thread if you have any other questions!

    Hi Jorid,

Thanks for reaching out! What you read is correct – recurring events do not currently have much support for tickets. You can add tickets to a series, but note that these will display the first date in the series, no matter which date (instance) the user tries to add the ticket from. We are working on building out support for recurring tickets in the future, but unfortunately I don’t have a timeline as to when this will be released. Sorry for the bad news!

With Event Tickets Plus, you can create different tickets on the training class (event) for each of the time slots you want to sell. Alternatively, you could also create custom fields on tickets to allow users to select from available time slots (such as from a select box), but there would not be any validation using this method (such as limiting the number of tickets available for each time selection).

I’m sorry I don’t have some better answers for you here, but I hope this helps clarify how Event Tickets Plus works! I would also recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some good details on how ET+ features work:

New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hi Chris,

I’m sorry you’re getting that message on the form, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on. First, could you please send me a link to an event this is happening on, as well as a screenshot of the tickets section on the event edit screen (with all of the sections expanded)?

Have you tried testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If not, please run through the steps outlined in this article to see if you can confirm/rule out any conflicts. I recommend using the free WP Staging plugin, which lets you crate a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing, if you do not have a testing site already. Please let me know what you find!

And last, can you share your system info with me as well?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry your import hasn’t been working! Is this one that you had set up before and has since stopped working?

I tested out the Facebook page in my local environment, but I was not able to recreate the issue – the event on the page was imported successfully. Can you tell me what you’re seeing when you try to import (error messages, etc.)?

Please also send me a screenshot of what you see under Events > Help > Event Aggregator System Status. This should help us get an idea of what is going wrong.

And finally, can you share your system information with me as well?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like the title is running out of space…Can you try unchecking one or more of the columns in the Screen Options panel (see screenshot) at the top of that page? This will free up some space and should get the title to display inline again.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Greg,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

With Eventbrite Tickets, you can import events from Eventbrite into your site (and add events from your site to eventbrite.com), but you will first need to have our free plugin The Events Calendar installed and activated.

I would recommend taking a look at this article, which has some great information on the features that come with Eventbrite Tickets and how the plugin works.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Thanks for sending that over Fred! Everything looks alright in your system info…for the screenshot, I was actually referring to the ticket settings, which you can find under the Tickets section on the event edit screen that you send the link for. When you take the screenshot, please make sure that all of the sections are expanded so that I can see all of your settings.

I would also recommend testing for a conflict with your theme and other plugins if you haven’t done so already! If you don’t have a testing site, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your site that you can use for testing.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Travis,

I definitely understand not wanting to create test orders in your live site. I think the easiest way (if you don’t have a testing site) would be to use the free WP Staging plugin, which creates a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. This way you can create a few test orders using your current site environment without adding junk data : )

    Hi Robert,

I’m glad you were able to get the license moved!

I tested out using get_sidebar in my default-template.php file, and it was bringing in the sidebar as long as “Default Events Template” was selected under Events > Settings > Display.

I would recommend double-checking that “sidebar-1” is the correct name…you can try just get_sidebar() and see if the default sidebar shows up. If so, there is probably an issue with the sidebar name. Looking through your theme files to see how they’re calling the sidebar might be a good place to start. I’d also recommend clearing out any caching you may have on your site, such as through your server or a plugin. This way you can be sure that you are seeing the most recent version of the page.

I’m not sure what else to recommend for the sidebar, as this is beyond the scope of support that we typically provide here in the forums. If you have any other questions on getting up and running with our plugins, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Brie,

I’m sorry the link isn’t showing up…this is the link to the article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-make-your-calendar-your-sites-home-page/

If you go under Settings > Reading > “Your homepage displays” (see screenshot), you should have the option to choose “Main events page”.

If you need further assistance with this, can you please post this over in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.

If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Grant,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

Users should have an option to view attendees and sales reports for each event from the My Events page. Are you not seeing this on your site?

If not, can you please share your system info with me, as well as a screenshot of what you do see on that page?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jake,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you’re running into this issue with the attendee fields, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

I took a look at the event you sent, and the form appears to be working correctly on my end. Are you able to check with any of the users to determine which browsers they were using?

Can you try setting up a testing environment to see if you can recreate the issue? Please make sure that you have WP Debug enabled before you begin testing. To make sure that your theme or another plugin is not interfering, please use a default theme (like Twenty Seventeen) and keep all other plugins disabled.

Finally, can you also try updating WooCommerce to the current version (3.2.6)?

Let me know what you find!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

in reply to: Can a shortcode display a venue's events, month view? #1407309

    Hi Tyler,

Thanks for becoming a premium user!

I think using venues would be your best option so that you can take advantage of some of the venues features like the ability to display Google Maps on your events.

You are correct that “venue” is not currently a parameter that is available with the tribe_events shortcode. Have you tried using the tribe_featured_venue shortcode? This will let you specify a venue and display all upcoming events for that venue.

Let me know how that works!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
