Hi Brie,

I would recommend taking a look at this article for more information on setting your calendar as the main page.

Regarding adding a submit event button, submitting events from the front end of the site is actually a feature of Community Events. It does not actually come with a button, but you could always create a button yourself using the link to the submit event page!

There’s no link for making calendar main page in your note. I did use the knowledge base as well and Main Event page isn’t listed as an option for me.

Changing the slug just breaks the page.

If you go under Settings > Reading > “Your homepage displays” (see screenshot), you should have the option to choose “Main events page”.
