KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that didn’t work for you…can you verify that you created this file in your child theme: [your-theme]/tribe-events/tickets-plus/orders-edit-meta.php? If so, then you will need to paste this code into that file.
If you are doing any caching on your site (such as on your server or via a plugin), then you’ll want to make sure you clear that out. Please make sure that you’ve cleared your browser cache as well.
If it’s still not working, can you please share your full system info with me? If you’re not able to share it automatically, then you can copy it from Events > Help > System Information and paste it into a private reply.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterI’m glad to hear that it’s working now!
Since this has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. If you run into any other issues, please feel free to open up a new thread 🙂

KeymasterHi Andrew,
Thanks for clarifying – You can import to specific categories, but Event Aggregator does not bring in the Facebook categories (food, dance, comedy, etc.). However, once you’ve imported the events (or at the time of the import), you can assign categories and display them separately on your site. Additionally, Events Calendar Pro comes with shortcodes that will let you display full calendar views filtered by category.

KeymasterHi Kim,
Since it’s not working from the Dashboard, you will need to go in via FTP to remove the plugin files, then drop the files in for the current versions (which you can get from the Downloads page).
If you are not familiar with FTP, then this guide should help walk you through the steps. You might need to contact your hosting provider to get FTP access.
Let me know how this goes!

KeymasterGreat, I’m glad that you were able to get it working! If you have any other questions, please let me know.

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Recurring events are actually a feature of Events Calendar Pro (you need this add-on for the recurring events features), so it sounds like you’ve got the right product 🙂
You can find out more about how the subscription works here. If you have any questions or need help making changes to your subscription, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately there is not an out-of-the-box way to require one ticket to be purchased in order to purchase/register for other tickets. One option here might be to remove the free tickets, then create custom fields on the paid tickets where users can select the number of people attending on their ticket and enter their names.
Alternatively, you could do a customization to require one of the paid tickets to be selected before allowing users to add free tickets to their cart. If you’d like to give this a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start. We also have a list of recommended developers that you could contact if you would like to get help with the code.
Finally, you might look into using a WooCommerce add-on to bundle the free tickets with the paid tickets. Tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, so they typically work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions. However, please note that you may need to use the full product page to sell tickets or make a customization to the template for the default ticket box if you would like to use that with the bundles.
If this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, we’d love it if you could post the idea in our Feature Ideas Forum! We use it to gauge user interest in new features and help plan future development.
I’m sorry that I don’t have a more straight-forward solution for you here, but please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mike,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
There is not currently any waitlist functionality in the free version or the Pro version (Events Calendar Pro). Sorry for the bad news! If this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, we’d love it if you could post the idea in our Feature Ideas Forum! We use it to gauge user interest in new features and help plan future development.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Kadi,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!
First, can you update to the current versions (The Events Calendar 4.6.12 and Events Calendar Pro 4.4.24.1? Please be sure to update The Events Calendar before updating Pro – there has been an issue recently with users updating to the current version of Pro with TEC 4.6.11.1 active. If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
If that does not make a difference, can you please send me a link to an event where this is happening? I took a look at your site but didn’t see any upcoming events for those cities. Is this an event that you created manually on the site or one that was imported? If it was imported, could you also send me the link that you used to import it?
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Are you referring to the “All Events” link on the single event page? If so, then you can change this by doing a template override of the single-event.php file found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views. Look for this code block, which you can change to a different link in your copy of the template:
We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer
