    Hi Mischa,

Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m so sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your site.  Unfortunately, as per our Support Policy, we cannot log in to your site, however I will do my best to fix your issue here.

I do not see Events Calendar PRO listed under your active plugins, though I do see that you have purchased a license.  Please make sure that it is activated and updated to the most recent version (v4.4.18).

Can you check that Events Calendar PRO is connected to your current license key? See My Account » Licenses to find your current key.

You may want to also just manually re-enter the license key, even if it is correct, and ‘Save Changes’.

As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Christoph,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

You can add that code to your theme’s functions.php file in order to change the width at which the responsive breakpoint is activated.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Sean,

Thank you for providing me with that URL.  I am able to replicate the issue, meaning I also see duplicate venues appear when I import the events.

As you already know, this is a Known Issue and we are currently working on a fix for it, although I cannot give you an exact ETA at this time.

I have added this thread to our Bug Report, so that you will be notified when a fix is available.

I will mark this thread as Pending Fix for now.  Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jaap,

Thanks for getting back to me.  We’ve made a few updates since the last time we spoke.  Would you mind updating your plugins to their most recent versions?

Also, can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

in reply to: Rollover text showing code from siteorigin page builder #1363361

    Hi,

Thank you for your feedback and I apologize for any inconvenience that we have caused you.

As for the Remove Export Link code that I provided you with above, I have tested it myself and it should work to help you achieve what you are looking for.

It is not always possible for our plugins to work in sync with other plugins, as we are all writing code in a vacuum and cannot always anticipate the combination of plugins that a user will have on their site.  With that being said, we always try to make our plugins as compatible as possible with other plugins.

I would love to continue to assist you with this issue to the best of my abilities.  Without having access to the issue on your site, it is difficult for me to offer support.  You have a few options here, if you are willing.  You can set up a staging site or have your site in Maintenance Mode, so that I can see the error.  Or you can try to remove the display of the error with CSS.  I can assist you further with this, if you’d like to take this route.

I have installed the free version of SiteOrigin’s PageBuilder on my test site and would like to try to replicate the error if possible.  You may want to take another look at your settings to make sure that you have all of your desired Post Types checked.  Please let me know any additional settings that you have enabled, or send me a screenshot, so that I can try to see what you are seeing.

You may want to reach out to SiteOrigin’s support to see if they have any insight on this issue as well.  This is not meant as a way to pass you off to someone else, but rather to get additional input on the issue in an effort to solve things as efficiently as possible.

Please let me know what else we can do to better assist you through this process.  Please note that we do not check the forums over the weekend, but I can answer any questions that you may have on Monday.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Cary,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

Although this type of customization is not typically within our Support Policy, I’d love to point you in the right direction.  Please see this forum thread to get you started:

in reply to: Rollover text showing code from siteorigin page builder #1363139

    Hi,

Welcome and thanks for reaching out!

    1.  I do not see the page builder code appearing on your site as I see it in the screenshot.  If you are still experiencing the issue, would you mind sharing a link to the page where you see the issue, so that I can take a look?
    2. The Remove Export Link extension is no longer compatible with the most recent version of Events Calendar PRO.  You can try adding this code to you theme’s functions.php file:

    Hi Gábor,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are having this issue on your site.  As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.

You may also want to look at your theme’s functions.php file for any customizations you may have added and temporarily comment them out to see if that is the source of the issue.

Let me know how that goes!

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great weekend!

in reply to: Recurring event issues #1363117

    Hi Ihtezaz,

Thank you for providing me with all of that information.  I tried to replicate the issue using the settings you provided and my recurring events were created without any issue.

I appreciate your patience in this process.  Please let me know how it goes after cleaning up your recurring events.  Let me know if you have any other questions along the way!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Duplicate venues #1362801

    Hi Sean,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry that I don’t have better news for you, as we are still working on fixing this bug.  I will go ahead and add you to the bug report, so that you will be notified when the fix is available.

In the meantime, if you delete the scheduled import and set it up again, then are you still getting the duplicate events?

I’d be happy to take a look if you can you provide me with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link:

    ttps://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

If you provide me with the Facebook URL where you are seeing the issue, I can run some tests as well.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Issue with events calendar shortcode in essential grid #1362793

    Hi Steve,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I am slightly limited in how I can assist you here, as I do not have the Essential Grid plugin to test with, nor do we officially offer support for this integration.  However I will do my best to offer you some suggestions to steer you in the right direction.

As a starting point, try adding in the Formatted Event Date Shortcode extension following along with the Essential Grid shortcode instructions (instead of using the shortcode at the bottom of that article):

    https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/formatted-event-date-shortcode/

You may also want to reach out to ThemePunch’s support and see if they can provide any further insight.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

in reply to: Full size slider – isotope issue #1362782

    Hi Uwe,

I’m glad you were able to get things sorted out.  It sounds like everything is working as it should and as long as you don’t see any strange behavior or error messages on your site, you should be good to go!

Let me know if anything else comes up related to this issue!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Community Events #1362653

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Community Events, users can submit events to your site.  You also have the ability to customize the fields that appear on the submission form.

With the addition of Community Tickets, you can charge Organizers a fee per ticket, but unfortunately we do not have the functionality to charge a fee for posting.  It is possible that you can make this work with the addition of a third-party plugin from WooCommerce, as Tickets works through WooCommerce.

Here is some more information about the settings available through Community Tickets:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-community-tickets/

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: RSVP Notifications/Reminders and Event Reports #1362647

    Hi George,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Event Tickets, you can get attendee reports for your RSVPs, and with Event Tickets Plus, you can also configure order confirmations and other related emails and notifications.

Here is our article with more details on how to manage orders and attendees with Tickets:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/

You can export all of your events to Google Calendar with the click of a button that is, by default, on each event page.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
