    Hi Jean-Philipe,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Our emails are sent through the WordPress server, so sometimes there are issues there that cause emails to not be properly sent through.

You can have the system send tickets from any chosen email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.

Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Cierra,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Event Tickets Plus, you have the ability to sell tickets, in addition to the RSVPs that you are distributing on your site.

In general, we distinguish RSVPs and tickets, as RSVPS are free and tickets have a price.  So therefore, with Event Tickets Plus installed, you will be able to set a price for your ticketed events and have the price displayed, rather than having the word “Free” displayed.

I hope this helps to clarify things for you.  Please let me know if anything else comes up!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jay,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Events Calendar PRO, you can create recurring events and you can create custom recurrence rules, so what you are describing is definitely possible!

Please let me know if anything else comes up!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Previous and next week view links giving 404 #1415966

    Hi Karen,

I’m glad to hear that you have found the source of the issue.  The Agenda View plugin was created as an example of how to set up our plugin.  However it is no longer maintained and will not be updated, so unfortunately I cannot provide support for that plugin.

Since you have found the source of the issue, it is not necessary for us to see a database of your site.  Do you still need the functionality provided by that plugin for your site?  If it is possible for you to migrate that functionality to The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO, that would be an ideal scenario.

Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: adding loop of 3 upcoming events on divi theme home page #1415958

    Hi Nicole,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

With Events Calendar PRO, you have a number of shortcodes available to you that can achieve exactly the results that you are looking for.

You can also have your Main Calendar page display in List View, but you would not have the option to display calendar views elsewhere without the PRO version.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Can't find source for two translation words #1415956

    Hi Humberto,

Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!

You can find those translations in these two files:

    • /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar-es_ES.mo
    • /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar-es_ES.po

In case you haven’t already done so, you can read about how to override plugin language files in this tutorial:

in reply to: Facebook import not working after license renewal #1415953

    Hi Joe,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with Event Aggregator!  Is the new license code that you entered the one ending in 6114?

Where did you see the “Bad license” error?  Is it in Facebook or on your site?  Can you check your Event Aggregator Status under Events < Help and tell me what you see (or take a screenshot)?

Can you check that the Event Aggregator is connected to your current license key? See My Account » Licenses to find your current key.

You may want to also just manually re-enter the license key, even if it is correct, and ‘Save Changes’.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue as well. We unfortunately are aware of this problem with Facebook images not importing.

The good news is that we are already working on it and we are aiming to ship a fix for it in our next week’s maintenance release of our plugins.

I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the bug report. We will let you know as soon as a fix is released.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience.  Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Thomas,

I see that a colleague of mine answered your other thread, which is now marked as Pending Fix.

Since this is a duplicate thread, I am going to close this thread.

Please feel free to open up a new thread with any other questions that you may have.

    Have a great week!

in reply to: Track users attendance to past events #1415944

    Hi Jack,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

On the front end, you can view the recent orders placed by a given user, if you switch to or view their account.  On the back end, you can view their orders within WooCommerce Orders, which may be able to give you an idea of events that users have attended, or if they have cancelled orders, etc.

You can also view attendees by event and see if they were checked in for an event or if they did not  end up attending.  However, you cannot get a list of all event attendance in the way you are referring to, out of the box.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

in reply to: Adding custom payment gateway for Event Tickets Plus #1415940

    Hi Scott,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

In general, Event Tickets Plus is built to integrate with WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads.  You do have the option to install a WooCommerce extension, like this one, which can help you to integrate other payment gateways as well.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project and the above recommendation isn’t what you are looking for, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? in reply to: Email not send out to customer #1415939

    Hi Tom,

Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!

The server that is used to send emails is the WordPress server.  Sometimes for unexplained reasons, things just don’t work properly at one time or another.  If you test again and things still aren’t working properly, you do have another option.

You can have the system send tickets from any chosen email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.

    Hi Damien,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

What you are seeing is intentional and things are set up so that the user can make decisions about what to do if there is a refund, cancelled order, or failed payment situation.  We leave it up to the user to decide whether to increase stock manually in this situation, or to leave things as they are.  In a situation like this, you have the option to then delete the attendees, which will return your inventory back to the proper amount.

Here is our Knowledgebase article on this topic:

in reply to: Event Tile Edit? #1415933

    Hi Mike,

If you are trying to customize Photo View, then you should work with the /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/photo/content.php file and to edit a single event within Photo View, you should look at /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/photo/single-event.php.  You can try adding <?php echo tribe_get_venue() ?> to this template to add the venue.

When you refer to the main event page, I am assuming you mean the Calendar in Photo View, correct?  If that is the case, then /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/photo/content.php is the one to edit for that purpose.

Let me know if you need any further clarification!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: only members get rsvp #1415932

    Hi Nadav,

Although this functionality is not currently available out of the box, you can try to achieve this with a customization.

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

The following snippet will reverse the order of the way that events appear in photo view, which might get you close to what you are trying to achieve:

    https://gist.github.com/jmarchwinski/8ee4777a7894d2f5cbe6c761b6826070

In addition, you may want to take a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can direct you to which templates and views can be copied and edited.  If you are interested in doing this with CSS, the Themer’s Guide can show you how to do that without having your code erased with an update:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,
