KeymasterHi Ruth,
Happy New Year and thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are having an issue with updating your plugin.
As a first troubleshooting step, can you try deleting the plugin and adding it in manually via the method described here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

It sounds like you have a pretty good system going. Another option that I can think of is for you to create a coupon code through WooCommerce for members, which they can enter at checkout. You can do this by going to WooCommerce < Coupons.
You can also create a Member’s Only calendar, which can only be seen by logged-in users. You can follow the tutorial here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions on the topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi William,
Happy New Year and thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ruth,
Happy New Year and thanks so much for reaching out!
I apologize for the delay, as we have been away for the holidays.
You should be able to purchase a second personal license right from our product page here:

It sounds like you are looking to edit the Month View in the Main Calendar Page. You can take a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you how to correctly copy and edit our templates to achieve the results that you are looking for. You may want to look at the month/content.php file.

KeymasterHi Mary,
Happy New Year!
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m not quite sure why the teacher is being imported in addition to the correct organizer. I imported that event onto my test site and both Jason Blau and Sit Meditation Space were imported as organizers. Do you manage this Facebook page as well? Has something changed about the way that the information is being entered into the Facebook page?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Michael,
Happy New Year!
I’d recommend trying to downgrade to Event Tickets 4.5.7 and Event Tickets Plus 4.5.6. Here’s a guide on how to do that > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this process!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ben,
If you’d like the Network Activate our plugins, then you do need to purchase a Multisite license. If you just need to use our plugin on one, or a few sub-sites, then you can purchase a different license accordingly.
Here is more information on our licenses for multi-sites:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/
Please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Back to your issue: can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes to see if this resolves the issue?
If not, you may want to change permalinks to Post Name and see if that helps:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Travis,
Thanks so much for providing me with that information. With 36 events on your site, there shouldn’t be an issue with site speed, however there are many factors that can make up the site speed on your site. Do you have a lot of recurring events? Or events that recurring indefinitely? Also, if there are events with a lot of custom rules, that can also slow things down.
As a next troubleshooting step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.

Happy New Year!
I’m glad to hear that you have been able to make some progress with the migration your site. I see what you mean about the Event Widget missing the arrows next to the month. As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
