It sounds like you have a pretty good system going. Another option that I can think of is for you to create a coupon code through WooCommerce for members, which they can enter at checkout. You can do this by going to WooCommerce < Coupons.
You can also create a Member’s Only calendar, which can only be seen by logged-in users. You can follow the tutorial here:

I have another question- my website is in an RTL language. When viewing the events page in picture mode, the order is ltr- meaning events that are in january are on the left and february are on the right, which needs to be opposite. I can see that something “tells” the css to give the first event in a row a property of “left: 0%”, the second “left: 33.3333%” and so on, but can’t find that function in order to change left to right (also, I need to do it in a way that won’t remove my changes when I update the plugin). Any Ideas?

Although this functionality is not currently available out of the box, you can try to achieve this with a customization.
