  • Hi Shelia,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

You can have your orders automatically marked as complete by using the following snippet provided by WooCommerce:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/mark-orders-complete-automatically/

Please note that we cannot provide support related to this snippet, and if there are any issues, you should contact WooThemes.

In order to get attendees names to show up on your site, you can try adding this snippet to your child theme:

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Can't Select Next Month After Adding Filter Bar Pro #1423025

    Hi Raymond,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Are you displaying the month view here via a shortcode?  It seems that only one category is being displayed (which I’m sure is how you want it to be), however the Filter Bar is present.  Usually the Filter Bar is only present on the main calendar page, so I’d love to know how you have things set up so that I can try to replicate and test things on my end.

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Teresa,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with your site!

Can you try to manually delete and re-add the plugin as a first step?  You can also delete and re-add the license key as well.

in reply to: Maps not showing on Events listings #1422649

    Hi Kim,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

As far as spacing goes, you may be interested in change Photo View to an equal-height grid, as in the following tutorial:

in reply to: Bundle multiple tickets together #1422608

    Hi Griffin,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Unfortunately we don’t have a way to achieve this right out of the box.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

You can also add or vote on this similar idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

in reply to: Product not showing under Post types that can have tickets #1422596

    Hi Chad,

Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!

As it sounds like you’ve discovered, you are not meant to create tickets within a WooCoomerce Product, although it does become a WooCommerce Product once created.

Tickets can be created and edited within a variety of post types, which are listed within your settings.  It sounds like you have enabled tickets in the Business Listing post type, but things still aren’t showing up correctly because you have a custom template within that post type, is this correct?

Unfortunately, I don’t have a snippet to make things display properly with your customizations.  Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing on the front end on that page when your tickets are created?

Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    in reply to: Event #1422593

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

The customer can set a search filter per event. (show all data on which an event takes place). If so, how?

With Events Calendar PRO, customers can search by event date, location, and/or keyword using the Tribe Bar.

The administrator can give multiple dates to 1 event. Or is there a repeat function when entering the events? If so, how do I implement that?

Yes, this is totally possible.  You can create recurring events that have more than one date, and all of this information can be entered on one event page in the backend.

How do I change the time format from 1-12 (am and pm) to 0 – 24?

You can change the time format through WordPress itself.  Here is our tutorial on how to do that:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-the-time-format/

How can I enter the price of an event?

With the addition of Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus, you can enable RSVPs or tickets on your site and can add tickets to a variety of different post types.

The header of books is called “rsvp”. Can I change the text to “book”? And if so, how?

You can change the text of any string related to our plugin with the following code added to your site:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

Can I change the text RSVP changes that represents the field “number” And we can make this field stand out more. It is now hardly visible. How do I do this?

You can make these changes by customizing our plugin.  It sounds like this can be achieved with the addition of some CSS to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s stylesheet.  In addition, you may be interested in our Themer’s Guide, which gives some more in-depth information on how to customize our plugin.

Can we send the text of the e-mail confirmation

I’m not quite sure what you mean here, but you cannot send a text instead of an email confirmation.  You can edit the template for the email confirmation using the Themer’s Guide that I linked to above as your guide.

I hope this helps to provide some clarity to you, please let me know if anything else comes up!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Charles,

In that case, it sounds like you haven’t installed Events Calendar Pro on your site. Download and install Events Calendar Pro on your site, activate it, and then you should be able to see a slot for the Events Calendar Pro license.

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for confirming that this worked in a previous version.  I apologize for the inconvenience with this change.

In any case, try adding the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file and see if that resolves your issue:

in reply to: Tickets remain on sale after event date has passed #1422416

    Hi Che,

It seems that this is related to a known issue that we are currently working on.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.

I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.

They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,

    Jaime
