    Hi Thierry,

I’m glad to hear that at least you have been able to find a workaround for now.  Are you using a widget to display the calendar?

If so, you have the option to add additional information by navigating to your Widget options.  You can add Display options, like city and venue.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Raymond,

That is strange that it is only showing up on the category page!  Is this where your main calendar is found: http://www.themotoringdiary.com/events?  I am getting a 404 error when I try to access it.

Can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes?

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Permalinks add the date after update the plugins #1423777

    Hi Mika,

Okay, now I see what you mean.  Unfortunately that is the correct permalink structure for recurring events, and it is necessary to stay that way.  It was this way before the update as well.

One thing that you can try is the snippet provided in the following forum post, where a user posted a similar concern:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/modify-url-structure-for-recurring-events/

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Event Plugin Slowness #1423772

    Hi Travis,

Gotcha, thanks for all of that info.  Just to confirm, have you tried creating a test event with an attendee form using a bare WordPress install (a default WordPress theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’ and only Events Calendar plugins and WooCommerce installed and activated)?  If not, please go ahead and try that.

In addition, are you using redirects or some customization for your registration buttons?  Can you try removing all customizations and seeing if that resolves the issue?

Unfortunately the test event has passed, so I cannot see things in action there.  As I mentioned previously, I tried re-creating the same event on my backend that you shared screenshots for, and my attendee forms showed up, so I haven’t been able to replicate the issue so far.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Product not showing under Post types that can have tickets #1423745

    Hi Chad,

Thanks for supplying me with that information.

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

Can you test if your tickets show up properly when using another post type?  This way we can get a sense of where the issue may lie.

Another option may be to try using a WooCommerce shortcode to display the ticket product on that page:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Imported Events Gaining Time (Re-opened) #1423732

    Hi Daniel,

I have done a bunch of testing on my local site and I am able to replicate this issue with the URL that you have provided.  However, when I set up a similar test on my end, where I create an all day event in my google calendar, and then import/re-import, I do not see an issue.

I have used the same settings as you, with Status: Draft, same Event Authority settings, and site wide timezone settings.  My thought is that from here, we should continue to explore the timezone settings as a next step.  To start, what are your Google Calendar timezone settings?

In addition, are there any timezone settings (in WordPress in general or Events Settings < General) that you haven’t explored?

    Let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Thanks for your feedback, Christopher!

One suggestion is for you both to try the following extension to dequeue CSS Styles and Javascript Files:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/dequeue-assets/

Sami, let me know how it goes!

Christopher, if you are still experiencing the same issue, please open up a new thread so that we can provide you with more personalized attention!

in reply to: Recurring Event Update Fatal Error #1423048

    Hi Ruth,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry you are having that issue. We have a few other users reporting this issue as well and we are already investigating this further.

In the meantime, you can perform a manual update downloading the plugin from your downloads page (https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/) and following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

Please let me know if that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Mika,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

What are your permalinks set to under Settings < Permalinks?

Also, can you flush your permalinks while there, just by clicking Save Changes?

Here is some more information about permalinks best practices:

    Thanks,
