I have updated 6 plugins – Events Calendar PRO; The Events Calendar; The Events Category Colors; The Events Calendar Shortcode PRO; The Events Filterbar (9 Jan 2018) and now the permalinks add the date of the event which prevents from showing properly on my website.
I have changed the setting on the WP Permalink Setting but still it shows the date after the post name. Is there anyway to remove the date?
Thank you very much for your help!

Thanks so much for reaching out!
What are your permalinks set to under Settings < Permalinks?
Also, can you flush your permalinks while there, just by clicking Save Changes?
Here is some more information about permalinks best practices:

Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,

Thank you for your reply.
My permalink setting is https://example.com/post-name
I have flushed the permalinks but the date (on recurring events) still
shows in the Permalinks – example:
https://example.com/post-name/2018-01-10/I would like to remove the date after the post name if possible somehow…
Thank you so much Jaime.

Okay, now I see what you mean. Unfortunately that is the correct permalink structure for recurring events, and it is necessary to stay that way. It was this way before the update as well.
One thing that you can try is the snippet provided in the following forum post, where a user posted a similar concern:

Let me know how it goes!
