  • Hi Jordan,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Can you try updating all of your Events Calendar related plugins to the most recent version and see if this issue still occurs.

If so, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Calum,

Thanks so much for reaching out here!

Unfortunately I am not able to replicate the scenario that you are describing.  In that case, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.

in reply to: Event Agrigator, ICS import continually feeding events? #1462295

    Hi Vernon,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Event Aggregator, you can set up scheduled imports so that you events import automatically on a schedule.  You can import from a variety of sources, such as iCalendar, Google Calendar, CSV , and ICS file.  You can choose which events get imported because you can preview them before importing.

We also have a great 30-day full refund policy, so if for some reason, things don’t work out the way you want, you can get a full refund.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Nancy,

Thank you for alerting me to this.  To clarify, are you saying that if you uncheck Recurring event instances, then the issue resolves itself?

If you could also link me to that forum (if it is public), then I could take a look there as well.

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: PROBLEM TO ENABLING PERMALINKS #1462270

This could be part of the issue.  If you go to Settings < General, what do you see as your Site URL and WordPress URL there exactly?  You can take a screenshot if it helps.

Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Calum,

The user was referring to the Event Tickets plugin folder specifically, so the path is event-tickets/src/Tribe/Attendees.php on line 461.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Paul,

I’m sorry that this happened to you.  You can request a refund here if you’d like.  Please open up a new thread (and reference this one) if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Thanks so much for providing me with this information.  Unfortunately, this is related to a known bug that we are currently working on.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.

I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.

They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

In the meantime, the workaround is to roll back to ET / ET+ 4.6.  You can find older versions of our plugins on your Downloads page.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Robert,

As I mentioned, timezone troubleshooting can be confusing.  Sometimes playing around with the settings can help, as it did here.  I’m going to hold off on calling this a bug for now but will keep this thread in mind should this issue come up elsewhere.

With the settings and functionality working the way it should, is there anything else I can assist with?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Ah okay, I see.  The template you will want to edit is the single-event.php template.

    Thumbnail Featured image: tribe_event_featured_image
    Venue: tribe_get_venue
    Event Title: get_the_title
    Available: # (available tickets): tribe_tickets_get_ticket_stock-message
    Single Event Link: tribe_get_event_link

You can find a full list of available functions here as well:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
