Thanks for providing me with that information.
Are you displaying events on your homepage with a shortcode? If so, in order to limit the number of events that display, you can try something like this:
[tribe_events_list limit="6"]
Also, here is a full list of available shortcodes:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/#event-list-shortcode
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
February 26, 2018 at 5:31 am #1463648andrerosingParticipantHi,
With the shortcode [tribe_events_list limit=”6″] I don’t see the image and the description.
I tried other shortcodes but I want the same as the normal event list but than less on the screen and with a pagination to see more events.Andre
February 26, 2018 at 5:51 am #1463660Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Andre,
Would something like the following work for you?
[tribe_events view="list" limit="6"]
You can also find out more about Embedding Calendar Views here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

February 27, 2018 at 5:11 am #1464671Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Andre,
You are right, it looks like the only way that you can limit tribe_events is to add in a date range. The limit will work with tribe_events_list, but this doesn’t have the look you are going for.
You can also vote this idea in our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
That link also has a snippet that may be able to help you achieve the functionality that you are looking for.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
