ParticipantEvents Calendar PRO v.4.4.22 is causing the blog posts to display in the wrong chronological order (oldest to newest) with my theme Enfold 4.2.3
Can you suggest a way to fix this?
Nancy

KeymasterHi Nancy,
Thanks for providing me with this information.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Thanks,
Jaime

Participantwhat is the error message? It was not in your email. Was the error in
downloading the theme file? unzipping it? Or installing it? If installing,
which one gave an error – the parent or the child?February 19, 2018 at 11:57 am #1457897Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Nancy,
Sorry, the error message was in the screenshot I sent you. I was able to upload the theme, but got a message that the theme was missing the style.css stylesheet so it could not be downloaded.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI found this on the Enfold Forum:
Our developers found out that this is due to the Events Calender Pro’s Events -> Settings -> General -> Recurring event instances option. It breaks the standard WP query and it seems to occur when a multiple custom post type is involved.

KeymasterHi Nancy,
Thank you for alerting me to this. To clarify, are you saying that if you uncheck Recurring event instances, then the issue resolves itself?
If you could also link me to that forum (if it is public), then I could take a look there as well.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI am simply not upgrading until the issue is fixed, so i can’t answer about
the Recurring event issue. You can test it on the MIT site I shared with
you, if you wish.here is a link to the forum:

KeymasterHi Nancy,
It looks like your theme developers have created a fix, which is located in the thread that you linked me to.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
