KeymasterThanks so much for reaching out!
To start, I’d recommend deleting Events Calendar PRO and download a fresh copy from theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads.
If you still get the error after that, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterCan you try updating your Events Calendar related plugins and let me know if the issue still occurs?
I am unable to replicate this issue, as the [tribe_events view=”map”] shortcode appears on my test site as expected.
Are other shortcodes on your site working?
Can you confirm that you have gone through the testing for conflicts procedure?
Does the shortcode also not display when using a default WordPress theme, such as ‘Twentyseventeen’?
In addition, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Dobie,
In order for your custom fields to show up on the front end as well, you will need to add an additional snippet, as outlined in the article that I referenced:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/additional-fields-for-venues-and-organizers/
Here is that snippet:

Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Amir,
With Community Tickets, Organizers and all users can view the attendee list if you check this option. It will allow for the attendee list to display publicly for each event.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Bradley,
Glad to hear that helped! There is no featured organizer shortcode, but you could get around this by creating a category for your organizer’s events and using a category shortcode.
You can also vote on this idea in our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

KeymasterHi Thomas,
Thanks for all of this information. I have logged a bug report for this issue and you will be notified when a fix has become available.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.
I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Nathan,
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
You can try entering the following snippet into your WordPress Customizer or theme’s (or child theme’s) stylesheet:
#tribe-bar-views [name="tribe-bar-view"] {
display: inline-block;
}#tribe-bar-views .tribe-bar-views-list {
display: none;
}You will not need to do a template override for this, but you may have to adjust your template settings in Events Settings < Display.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterYes, you can definitely customize list.php.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.

KeymasterHi Shay,
You are correct, the maintenance release yesterday did not include a fix for this issue. Can you try using a “named timezone” instead of a GMT offset, such as “America/New_York”?
Also, I’d recommend using the “Use local timezones for events” timezone mode in Events > Settings as opposed to “use sitewide timezones everywhere”.
If you are still interested in a refund, you can fill out the form here.
Please let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

Would you mind being more specific about which widget you are using, so that I can give you some more specific advice?
In the meantime, have a look at our Widget shortcodes:

KeymasterHi Mike,
Thanks for all of that information and for running through those steps again.
At this point, you may want to talk to your host about what to do in the cases of high volume of users to your site.
In addition, although I have not experience with this, you can try adding a third-party pagination plugin, like this one and see if that helps.
Also, you may want to consider installing the Query Monitor plugin and see if that can give us any more information on the issue.
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
