KeymasterHi Kimberly,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, can you try updating all of your Events Calendar related plugins and see if the issue still exists?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI believe our developer, Dave, has been through all the routine
troubleshooting efforts. Please follow up with him directly with next
steps.March 6, 2018 at 7:48 am #1471032Kimberly Mathews
ParticipantAll the plugins are up to date. The WordPress codebase is also up to date as well. The issues are still unresolved. Please advise.

KeymasterHi Kimberly,
I can only respond within this thread, so if your developer would like to open a separate thread on your behalf, we can do things that way instead if you prefer. Just link to this thread as well.
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime,
We have a testing environment for such things.
- I temporarily reverted to the Twenty-Sixteen theme
- I temporarily turned off the few installed plugins we are using
- I then turned the plugins on one at a time
In all instances the two issues still existed. Please advise.

KeymasterHi Kimberly,
Thanks for going through that testing. I am seeing some errors related to the twenty-sixteen child theme that you are using. Can you try testing with an unedited default WordPress theme?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantJaime,
I reverted to the Twenty-Sixteen default theme yesterday in our dev environment and continued to see the issues with the Events Calendar. The only error I am seeing in the child theme is related to a YouTube link. Is there something else I am not seeing?
If need be I can revert our dev environment and I can give you access to view it. Please advise.

KeymasterHi Dave,
Here are the error messages that I am seeing:

One is a Javascript error and the other is related to your child theme. Can you confirm if you still see these error messages once you switch to a default WordPress theme?
Also, can you please provide me with your complete updated system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime
