ModeratorGreat! I’ve marked this thread as ‘Pending Fix’. A solution will be available shortly, so check out the plugin changelogs and our Release Notes for more info.
Thanks and have a great weekend ahead!

ModeratorWelcome back,
I understand these things take longer than ideal, but we do our best to provide responses within 24 hours. More info can be found in our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.
It sounds like you might need to update the Site URL for your license keys so you can update. More info can be found by reviewing the following resources:
You might also want to update Manually. Let me know if updating the plugins has any effect on your issue. Don’t forget to review the Testing for conflicts guide after updating to rule out a theme and/or plugin conflict.
Thanks and take care 🙂

ModeratorHey Johan,
Thank you for the update. Can you share a link to an event which is displaying correctly and an event which is displaying incorrectly?
I have enclosed the event log and there you can see that there is also a problem with the permalink of the events. Some recurring events are using /all/.
If this is a separate issue, please create another thread. We try and keep threads minimized to one topic as it helps cut down on confusion.
Thanks again and have a good evening 🙂

ModeratorHello,
Thank you for the response. I’d love to help out here, but without accessing the back-end of your site, it’s a little difficult telling exactly what needs to be done. Additionally, this request falls under a theme conflict/customization which we’re unable to support. Your best bet is to check out what’s going on in the templates relative to the single event template and make your desired changes. Again, this is where the Themer’s Guide comes into play.
You also might want to contact the Avada team to see if this is a known issue and if so, see if they have a solution available. They’ve built customizations to compliment our plugins rather than us build our plugins around their theme. I don’t mean to pass the buck here, it’s just the most appropriate answer for the situation.
Sorry again I can’t do more and please let me know what you learn. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Andrew,
Thank you for the update. There is the possibility the issues you’re experiencing are related to the logged bug. I see in the screenshot provided that WordPress core has an update available. Have you tried installing TEC Manually using the latest version of WordPress and the default Twenty Seventeen theme? Have you tested to see if you can install a version previous than the current release? If so, did you experience any issues?
What I’ll do is add this forum thread to the bug report so the developers can review our discussion and if we need any more information from you, I’ll be sure to update this thread. I can’t guarantee the behavior you’re experiencing is result of this bug, so let me know the answers to the questions I’ve posed above and please include your System Information as a private reply.
Thanks again and have a great rest of your day 🙂

ModeratorHello to the both of you 🙂
My sincerest apologies for the delayed response. This thread somehow got lost in my queue and I didn’t notice it until just now! We do our best to build our plugins to work well with custom themes and other plugins, but unfortunately conflicts do arise.
Due to the fact the issue subsides when reverting back to the default WordPress theme, there is not much I can do in this situation. Our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article goes over what we’re able to cover in the forums, and theme conflicts are something we’re not able to support.
Your best bet is to use custom CSS as Nathan has. I like to share this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in this instance.
If things get beyond your level of expertise, we have a list of customizers that might be able to help further assist.
I know this is not the ideal situation, but seeing it’s not affecting the default WordPress themes, there’s not much I can do. Good luck resolving the conflict and let me know if you have any more questions or thoughts on the matter. Thanks and take care!
January 17, 2017 at 6:14 pm in reply to: Dropdown no longer showing when I try to add id'd in import events #1220018Hunter
ModeratorHey and welcome back 🙂
I’m not having any troubles with the dropdown and there don’t appear to be any logged bug reports resembling your issue, so there is not much I can do in this instance. When testing, make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. If you do find any errors, feel free to share them with me and I’d be happy to further investigate.
Best of luck and sorry again I can’t do more. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Patty,
I’m glad that method worked out for you! Hopefully Jim has the same luck. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and please feel free to open a thread if you have any questions or concerns.
Cheers!

ModeratorHey Ed 🙂
We have a handy tutorial which helps set which fields you’d like required on the Community Events submit event form.
For the rest of what you’ve described, a simple template override as explained in our Themer’s Guide is the way to go. The submit event file can be found here: /the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php.
I like to share this Customizing WordPress #1 – How To Create A Child Theme by LevelUpTuts YouTube video as it’s essentially the same process as what the Themer’s Guide entails.
Best of luck and let me know if you had any other questions. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Randy 🙂
Welcome back and I hope your week is going well thus far! We don’t have any social media features included in our plugins, so the best way to accomplish what you’ve described would be to look for a plugin specifically designed for what you need or build the customizations yourself.
I’d start by reviewing our Themer’s Guide as it contains helpful information on creating and saving customizations.
Let me know if this helps answer your question and if you’d like to submit your request in hopes of seeing it included in an upcoming feature release, take a moment and add it to our UserVoice Feature Ideas page.
Cheers!
