We don’t currently have any features included which enable you to set restrict the ability to view events based on user role, but with the use of additional plugins available in the WordPress repository, it wouldn’t be too difficult a task to pull off!
More information on the matter can be found on our Admin roles and permissions tutorial. Please take a look and if you still have any questions, feel free to respond and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

I did some quick testing to see what I experienced when searching for partial venue names both on the front end and back end. I did experience some shortcomings when searching for partial venue names on the front end, but the results were the same on version 4.4.0.1 and 4.3.5. When searching on the back end, I had no problems pulling up results when typing partial venue names on both versions.
I’m aware of a report we’ve got logged aimed to improve the Tribe Events Bar search capabilities, so I’ve added this forum thread to the logged report for the developers to review while making improvements.
I don’t have a precise date when it will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

Thank you for posting and sorry to see you’re experiencing troubles. Please retest as explained in our Testing for conflicts guide, but make sure to check to see if this behavior occurs when both TEC and PRO are activated, or if it only occurs when just TEC is active.

Welcome back! I unfortunately do not have any readily available snippets which would enable past events to display on search results pages, so your options here are to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit it as a feature request or tailor things yourself using tribe_get_events. If things get beyond your level of expertise, we have a list of customizers that can help further assist.

We have a bug logged resembling what you’ve described, so I’ve gone ahead and added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. Stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. The good news is, it’s marked Priority Level 1 and is set to be included in the next release which will be available any day now. ModeratorThank you for going through the testing process. I went ahead and attempted to reproduce the behavior and you are correct, regardless of the WooCommerce setting, you get redirected to the cart after adding a ticket.
Try adding the snippet found here to the bottom of your theme’s functions.php file and let me know if the behavior changes. Be sure and exclude the opening tag found on line one.

That is correct. At this time, the PRO Additional Fields are limited to events. I’ve located a feature report we have logged related to adding this functionality to venues and organizers, so I’ve added this forum thread which helps increase attention on the report. I also see a relative submission on our UserVoice Feature Ideas page, so take a moment and upvote it.
One workaround would be to use Advanced Custom Fields. I’ve done this and it’s not too difficult to implement. Sorry I don’t have better news for you at this time and please let me know if you have any more thoughts or questions. Thanks!

I’m glad to hear we’ve identified the source of conflict. I’ll paste what we have regarding the Divi theme:
Elegant Themes has recognized The Events Calendar as one of the best WordPress event plugins on their blog in the past, but they do not specifically outline the compatibility of our plugins with their popular Divi theme. Despite that, we’ve had many users report successful integrations. We also have a knowledgebase article that helps with a common issue that comes up with pagination in Divi.
Here is the aforementioned knowledgebase article: Fix Divi theme pagination problems
With that said, there shouldn’t be any major issues with the Divi theme that would keep you from using the theme, though it may take some extra love to get them working together. I wish I was able to provide more support on the matter, but our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article states theme conflicts are outside the scope of what we can cover.
When testing, make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. You can also right-click your mouse and open the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console.

I’m happy to hear the organizer issue has been identified. The Add Event button isn’t displayed on the main events page by default, so if that’s something you want to do, our Themer’s Guide is the best resource in this instance.

Did you notice any errors from your last round of testing? If so, please share them with me so I can compare them to any known issues.
You are definitely within the 30-day window to get a full refund, so if that’s the path you’d like to go, please visit our Refunds page and we’d be happy to process that for you.
I’m not a developer for the plugin, so I cannot answer why our plugin relies heavily on AJAX as you say. If you’d like to see things done in a different way, our UserVoice Feature Ideas is the best place to voice these concerns.

ModeratorGlad to see you were able to update. Does the behavior occur when both TEC and PRO are active? Can you try temporarily deactivating every plugin other than TEC and revert back to the default WordPress theme? I’ve located a bug which might be related to your issue, but I’ll know more once I have an answer from you.

TEC should work fine on a multisite, so I’m not confident that is the issue you’re experiencing. Can you send a screenshot of your Events > Settings > Imports screen?
