Adding Social Media Links

I was wondering if there is any possibility to add social media fields to Presenters?

Welcome back and I hope your week is going well thus far! We don’t have any social media features included in our plugins, so the best way to accomplish what you’ve described would be to look for a plugin specifically designed for what you need or build the customizations yourself.

I’d start by reviewing our Themer’s Guide as it contains helpful information on creating and saving customizations.

So are we not allowed to use custom fields in the organizer/presenter posts? Every time I try, nothing gets displayed. We originally fixed this issue by purchasing the plugin and the plugin then allowed us to build custom fields but only in event posts, not organizer/presenter posts.

Hey Randy,

That is correct. At this time, the PRO Additional Fields are limited to events. I’ve located a feature report we have logged related to adding this functionality to venues and organizers, so I’ve added this forum thread which helps increase attention on the report. I also see a relative submission on our UserVoice Feature Ideas page, so take a moment and upvote it.

One workaround would be to use Advanced Custom Fields. I’ve done this and it’s not too difficult to implement. Sorry I don’t have better news for you at this time and please let me know if you have any more thoughts or questions. Thanks!
