    We are unfortunately unable to log into customer sites :-/

    I don’t see a screenshot come through in your last reply. If you want to try resending that, I’d be happy to take a look. I recently set up my own API key and it wasn’t too difficult, so reply back with as much info as possible and we’ll continue troubleshooting.

    Hi Karen,

    Thank you for the response. I have to admit, I’m really not sure where to begin here. I’m not able to recreate the issue and I’m not seeing anything similar to what you describe in our logged bug reports.

    With that said, my hands are essentially tied in regards of the ability to provide further support in this situation. I wish I had a magical answer that could solve the problem, but should it come to it, we’ve got a list of list of customizers that might be able to help out.

    Lastly, please send over your System Information as a private reply and I’d be happy to take a look and see if anything stands out. Have a good Wednesday and thanks again!

    Welcome back 🙂

    I’m glad to hear you’re on the right track! Forgive me, but I must admit I’m a little confused on what you are trying to accomplish. Do you want to use the events feature included in your theme and use Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus for those events? Or are you wanting to use the free version of The Events Calendar with Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus?

    To clarify, you don’t need to have The Events Calendar nor Events Calendar PRO installed/activated to run Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. Additionally, our New User Primer: Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus article is a great resource in learning how to maximize the potential of the plugins.

    Welcome back! I took a look at your System Info but don’t see anything that stands out. Do you happen to have a test/dev site you could try and replicate the issue on? You may need to update your ‘Active URL’ field in your TEC account, instructions on how to do that can be found here.

    Thank you for getting back to me. I took a look at your list of plugins and it doesn’t look like you’re utilizing a caching plugin. There are many factors that have an effect on the performance of your site, but caching is definitely something worth considering. There are many free plugins in the WP repository that can do the job, such as WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache. WP Rocket is a caching plugin I personally use and can vouch it’s worth the price!

    We continually explore ways to improve our code and methods, but it is ultimately up to the site manager to optimize their site for performance. I hope this clarifies any concerns you might have and strongly recommend reading through the articles pertaining to performance in my first response.

    I attempted to visit your main events page but it appears there’s a redirect back to your home page. Is there any way you can temporarily allow me to take a look at your main events page? Unfortunately it looks like you’re experiencing a theme conflict since the issue doesn’t occur on the Twenty Sixteen theme, so I will be fairly limited on how far I can troubleshoot the issue with you, but I’d be more than happy to exhaust all resources. Should it come down to it, we have a list of list of customizers that might be able to help you out.

    Hi Thomas,

    The error you’re describing could be caused by the incompatibility between the two versions. Are you able to update to the latest version of TEC first, then try upgrading to the latest version of PRO?

    It is highly recommended you keep your plugins updated to the latest versions for these types of possible conflicts. Keep me informed and enjoy the remainder of your day 🙂

    Hey Daniel,

    Thank you for the response. If you visit our demo site, you’ll notice that everything appears to be working correctly. I can also confirm this behavior on my local test environment using the latest versions of our plugins and the default WP theme activated.

    With that said, I don’t know what could be causing the issue other than another plugin or possibly your theme. I took a quick look at your site and it appears you don’t have any active API key for your Google Maps. Please refer to this article on how to set up the API key.

    Would you mind sending over your System Information as a private reply? I’d be happy to take a look at that and see if anything stands out.

    @Mathew is correct (thank you Mathew!) We are aware of the issue you’re experiencing. Please refer to the link he provided. Let me know if you’re able to get the issue resolved until we can get a fix out in an upcoming maintenance release. Additionally, I’ve attached this thread to the logged bug report.

    Hey Daniel,

    Welcome to the forums! I took a quick look at your site and the ‘Search bar’ doesn’t seem to be working as designed. Strange!

    I see you checked ‘Yes’ to testing with the default WP theme and deactivating all other plugins other than ours as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide, but can you please confirm this? I just checked my local test environment but am not seeing the same results as what I’m seeing on your site.

    Hey Hans!

    Welcome back! To familiarize yourself with how our plugin handles custom templates, please review our Themer’s Guide. The file you’ll need to edit/overwrite is /the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta.php. Copy line 49 and paste it to line 43 and the ‘Additional Fields’ should appear below the ‘Details’ section.

    Don’t forget to save it in your tribe-events folder inside your theme folder ([your-theme]/tribe-events/modules/meta.php) to avoid losing customizations. Please follow our Themer’s Guide when making these customizations ?
