    Good evening Tom and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing while trying to use our Pro add-on with Polylang. This was certainly not intended on our end.

    As much as I hate being the bearer of bad news, the reason why you are experiencing such difficulties is because we officially do not support the Polylang plugin for multi-lingual websites. As you found out, it works quite well with our core free plugin, but things definitely get more complicated with all of our add-ons.

    That being said we do support multilingual websites via WPML for both our free plugin and for our Pro add-on. Furthermore, we are looking at expanding WPML to cover all of our add-ons as part of our roadmap.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    The good news is your are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey Malcolm,

    Thank you for your answer and for your offer to log in. Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.

    Regarding your question, we will officially integrate media uploads on our forums very soon. But in the meantime, you can totally use a simple link to something like DropBox, Google Drive, Cloudup, etc… .

    But that being said, I think I have a solution for you.

    Could you try using 0.2 as a value for your flat fee ?

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Friedrich,

    Thank you for the link. Could you try the following CSS rule

    #top .main_color .tribe-ticket-quantity {

    width: 43px;
    display: inline;
    padding: 0px 5px 0px;
    line-height: 41px;
    vertical-align: middle;
    text-align: center;
    margin: 0;
    }

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Simon,

    Thank your for running all the tests.

    The fact that problem still occurs after deactivating the other plugins and reverting back to a default WordPress theme indicate that the issue is elsewhere.

    Would you mind going over to your permalink menu (Settings -> Permalinks) and, making sure that the pretty permalinks are activated, hit the Save Changes button. While doing that can you pay special attention to the message you get at the top of the screen and report that message back to me.

    Could you also share with me (in a private reply) the content of the .htaccess file of your WordPress installation ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey Dave,

    I am stoked to know that this worked out for you!
    Thank you so much for hanging in there, you deserve all the credit for that.

    The rest of the magic is all George’s superhero skills.

    That being said, I never say no to a beer offer and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t either.
    So if we get to the land of the rising sun, we’ll totally take you up on your offer.

    Good afternoon James,

    Thank you for your answers and for running additional tests.

    The next steps to resolution would be:

    • Could you try switching your Tribe timezone setting to Use local timezones for each event
    • Could you please send me (still in a private reply) a link to a screenshot of your API setting under Events -> Settings -> Add-ons APIs

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Joanna,

    This is a great question. The fact that there is a sidebar or not is actually based on 2 things:

    1. What your setting is for Events template in Events -> Settings -> Display
    2. What your theme’s rules are for archive.php and the default page template (which you can customize) based on what you selected in the option above

    In other words, if you create a child theme you could tweak it to your liking by:

    • Check out the forums of Avada or ask the theme authors for the best way to achieve the result you are looking for
    • Using our Themer’s guide as a starting point to get a sense of how the templates work with conditionals based on the view you are looking at. You can use our functions from the functions archive for that very purpose. Here’s an example of that: https://theeventscalendar.com/function/tribe_is_list_view/
    • Hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Tommy and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    1. Is it possible to include event start date in the order email? This way customer sees the date for which they booked the ticket.

    Absolutely, in fact you can personalize your tickets in many other ways. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    2. Also on mobile, we can´t push and see events. Is it possible to have a list view only on mobile? (http://viaferratanorway.no/booking/)

    Yes, you can have all the views on mobile as well. But in full disclosure, there is currently a bug on iOS for certain views, can you confirm that this is what you are referring to ? (if so I’ll have a fix for you)

    3. Is there a way to show on each event, how many tickets are left? We have created non-recurring events now with unique ticket for each.

    Yes, this should actually be the default on the single event view. Are you talking about a different view (month view, list view, etc.) ?

    Also could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)

    Good evening Simon and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the server hanging when trying to access a specific event.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)

    Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

    Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
