ParticipantDear Support,
I can not get Event Tickets Pro working. I have installed the event calendar and pro version as well as event ticket and pro. I can enter in the information in the event section but it will not show up on the event page. I have checked and its located in the products in woo commerce, but it will not show up.
I made a product in Woo to confirm that woo was working fine. Which it was. So I am confused.
Cheers

MemberGood evening Dave and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear that you have not yet been able to add tickets to your Event pages.
Of course we would like to help you achieve just that.In order to troubleshoot what the cause is, I will need to ask you a couple of questions:
- Out of curiosity, have you tried our user guide on that very topic ?
- You mentioned the ticket is not showing up on the event page. Can you specify that you are talking about the single event details page ? Does the ticket show up in the Edit Events page ?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Have a great night,
Geoff B.

ParticipantDear Geoff,
Thank you again, for you reply. Yes, I did read the above document. If you like I would be happy to give you a logon to see the problem.
I don’t know what is going on, but I came back to looking at the problem this morning and it seems to be working fine on both the servers (test and real one).
Since the real server only needs the RSVP function, I can changed it to RSVP. So its not showing the ability to RSVP and the cost is set to FREE, which is not correct. It should say 295.
If you like I would be happy to give you a logon to see the problem.
All the Best

MemberGood afternoon Dave,
Hmmm, it is odd indeed that the problems disappeared suddenly.
Thank you for the offer of the logon, however unfortunately our support Terms and Conditions prevent us from logging in our clients websites (for several reasons including liability).
As a side note, you might consider upgrading your PHP version in the near future since we officially only support down to PHP 5.2 .
That being said, I would still love to help you iron out the RSVP cost issue.
If possible, I would like to get a screenshot of your event’s Tickets metabox as well as a screenshot of what you see when you try to add a new ticket.
Also, just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, here are a few suggestions/questions:
- The RSVP function is actually unrelated to the WooCommerce Tickets. This is part of the free Events Tickets functionality. In other words, an RSVP ticket will never show a price by it’s very nature.
- Can you try deleting the RSVP ticket (after the screenshot) and creating a brand new WooCommerce ticket instead ?
Many thanks and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

MemberGood evening Dave,
Problem 1. I have put back on the price as per the clients request. Might have to change it again when the in a few days after the client changes their mind.
So I guess this means that for now, we will wait on your client’s final decision on this topic 🙂
As pointed out I will be glad to guide you through Brian’s procedure if you need assistance.Problem 2. Before I contacted you support, I turned off all the plugin’s except for the event calendar and tickets and woo commerce. Was still seeing the problem of the disappearing and reappearing purchase tickets box. Also reinstalled 2012 theme to test.
On the link you have sent me (http://silcny.com/event/2016-silc-conference/), the ticket shows up properly. I would require specific examples of events where the tickets are not appearing to troubleshoot this further.
Problem 3. Is fun, as been trying to go through all the posts linked to the one you sent me. Still have been able to find the right way to change it for the single page (http://silcny.com/event/2016-silc-conference/) or remove the Archive from this page. http://silcny.com/events/.
I understand where you are coming from. I wish this was easier too!
We do try our best to ensure that our plugins work as smoothly as possible with most WordPress themes.
In fact, problem 3 disappears completely under most themes (e.g.: twenty-fifteen).The issue here is that the specific WordPress theme you are using forces page titles in it’s own way when it’s single.php and archive.php page template are called upon.
In other words, you will need to edit your templates functions.php to add exceptions for Events calendar related pages. Or, if that’s easier for you edit your theme’s single.php and archive.php files.
Have a great evening and please send me a couple of links for problem #2.

ParticipantGood Morning Geoff,
Ok, I have decided to leave problem one and two alone for the time, and just focus on problem three.
So I have been trying to going thru the links you have sent. I have tried the global title as in this post
(https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/changing-event-page-title-archives/) but it did not work.So continued on reading and since I don’t have Yoast SEO enabled at the moment I have skipped that part. I tried the Conditional Logic but i could not get it to work. I also tracked down the following <?php the_title(); ?> as in (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/) but it was in the single.php file and could not get that work. So I must be doing something very wrong.
So I am confused.
Also I have left the main site alone and just testing on http://gosine.me/events/

MemberGood evening Dave,
Thank you for trying to solve issue 3. I am sorry this seems to be creating more confusion.
No worries though we’ll get through this one together. We might just need a bit of trial and error until we find the solution that works in your specific case. Can you try the following link’s suggestion and tell me if that help ?

ParticipantGood Morning Geoff,
I did try that before and it did not work.
When the code was entered I noticed that it just removed the title of the event on the upcoming events page. I removed the title and the title came back.
Have you hear of a plugin called “say what“?I was asked to try that by the guys at woo.
Dave.

MemberGood evening Dave,
I am sorry to hear that you did not have success removing the archive title from there.
That being said, yes I know about the Say What plugin and I think it’s awesome.
You can give it a shot, but I’m doubtful that it will help.On the other hand, you have perfectly identified the piece of code that is responsible for returning “Archive” at the top of your page.
All you would need is to add a condition in there when a tribe page is detected so that it returns the title of the page.Very similar to elseif ( is_page() ) {$title = get_the_title();}
Let me know if that helps or if you need further assistance.
Have a great day!

ParticipantDear Geoff,
I was able to sort out the problem for the upcoming events page (http://gosine.me/events/) but it seems that I can not write the correct statement for the single event page, I think that is the page with the event on it. (http://gosine.me/event/2016-silc-conference/)

MemberGood evening Dave,
Wow! Good job on fixing the archive page.
Can you run the code snippet you are using for the single page by me ? (I will take a look at it).
As a side note, the best way to share code snippets is through a web service such as pastebin or gist 🙂
Have a great day!
