Participant1. Is it possible to include event start date in the order email? This way customer sees the date for which they booked the ticket.
2. Also on mobile, we can´t push and see events. Is it possible to have a list view only on mobile? (http://viaferratanorway.no/booking/)
3. Is there a way to show on each event, how many tickets are left? We have created non-recurring events now with unique ticket for each.
Thanks!

MemberGood evening Tommy and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.1. Is it possible to include event start date in the order email? This way customer sees the date for which they booked the ticket.
Absolutely, in fact you can personalize your tickets in many other ways. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
2. Also on mobile, we can´t push and see events. Is it possible to have a list view only on mobile? (http://viaferratanorway.no/booking/)
Yes, you can have all the views on mobile as well. But in full disclosure, there is currently a bug on iOS for certain views, can you confirm that this is what you are referring to ? (if so I’ll have a fix for you)
3. Is there a way to show on each event, how many tickets are left? We have created non-recurring events now with unique ticket for each.
Yes, this should actually be the default on the single event view. Are you talking about a different view (month view, list view, etc.) ?
Also could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Tommy,
- I just went through the themer’s guide but couldn’t find references about email change. Can you point me where I can read about adding “Event Date” in the woocommerce order emails?
Just to set expectations before we continue, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our wonderful customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, there is no special instruction to add the event date specifically. Rather the possibility to tweak the template to your liking (including adding the date)
To change the email to your liking, you need to copy the file mentioned here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/#tickets to the /tribe-events/ folder of your WordPress theme.
Once that is done, you can tweak it to your liking. This file will have priority over the default email template.
If that is out of your confort zone, you might want to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
2. On mobile, we are unable to click the date or event to view details and book tickets.
This could be related to one of 2 things:
- The version of the plugins you are using (see point 3) – most likely
- Some type of conflict (theme, customization or plugins)
3. I think there was a misunderstanding. Thank you for the invitation, but unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.
What I meant was to provide the system information as explained here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Could you share that with me because there is a strong chance that this will help solve a few issues.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Tommy,
Thank you for the site info, that helps a lot.
I am noticing a couple of things that probably are not helping with the second and issues:
- You are is still using the WooCommerce tickets plugin. This plugin is deprecated and will most likely break with the latest version of WooCommerce and the Events Calendar plugins. You would have to migrate to Events Tickets Plus plugin. As a first step, after making a complete backup of everything (database and plugins), I would recommend following the instructions found here.
- You are also not fully up to date on the Events Calendar plugins (they are both at 4.1.2)
- You are a couple of versions behind on WordPress as well. This might not seem related, but we constantly adapt our code to be on par with WordPress’ evolution. Again a backup is order, but I would definitely recommend upgrading to at least 4.4.2 if you can (4.5 is so freshly out that some plugins are not fully patched yet)
I would start with points 1 and 2 and see if that helps.
Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantThanks, Geoff. We’ll try the update now.
One more question, can we show available number of tickets here: http://screencast.com/t/a24xX0qui9 ?
Thanks!

MemberGood evening Tommy,
Absolutely, the number of tickets available is a default feature of Event Tickets Plus!
Let me know how that goes.
