MemberGood evening Andrea and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. However, now I think I have a problem. Can my community event submissions have an option to set up and view RSVPs from their front end? I only see it on the backend, which they do get access to, but not til after the fact.
What is going on is that Community Events Tickets extends Event Tickets Plus.
They are interdependent and you need both together to offer front-end ticketing ability. With that in mind, you can totally choose to deactivate WooCommerce which will make only RSVP tickets available.
Or, if you need to keep WooCommerce active, we have a snippet to limit the number of ticket types available in the Community Events submission form.
If indeed you feel like this combination does not offer you enough value for the use you have of it, maybe you are right. Importing Facebook events would totally be possible, thanks to our Events Aggregator service: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Jeff and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.1. Is there a way to demo the ical import add-on plugin with the demo events calendar?
• I just want to make sure that we can easily import a lot of events from the current plugin into the new plugin.Great question. Actually our iCal import plugin has now been replaced by our Events Aggregator service: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
We unfortunately do not have a demo available. But, you can totally test it out risk-free.
This is possible because you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one as long as you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
2. What would be the best way to import all our current and past events from the All-In-One Events calendar? Our current clients use the calendar plugin heavily for their business, so we want to be able to have a seamless/smooth transition into your plugin. Especially insuring that everything gets exported/imported.
• Event Name
• Event Details (time, date, repeated dates, location name, location address, organizer information)
• Featured image
• CategoriesAccording to timely’s documentation, the only export method available is through a .ics file.
The downside of that is that this format will most likely not include all of the above info (because of the nature of the ics format.
In other words, this will leave you with a one-time transition effort of manually “filling in the blanks”.
But the good news is that there is an alternative.
You could use WP All Import to achieve exactly what you want: http://www.wpallimport.com/ . As you can imagine, this is slightly outside the scope of our support, but their tutorials are great.
This should make for a much more solid transition on your end.
3. I see that you guys have a bundle for the Events Pro, Event Aggregator and filter bar and for 3 sites it is $289. Do you guys have something for 4 sites?
Unfortunately we do not at this point, but I will absolutely relay that fantastic suggestion to our product team.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us and offering to login.
Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.
With that in mind, I would love to help you.
I believe the only reason that the tickets are not displaying is because of their tickets start sale date. Until that date is reached (based on your server and WordPress settings), tickets will not be visible.
So, you could either remove the start sale date or wait that it is reached.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Julian and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the 404 not found events. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.First off, I believe you are several versions behind in almost every single one of our plugins.
Unless, you have a compelling reason not to, I would highly recommend upgrading them as a starting point (after a database backup, of course).Secondly, would it be possible to provide me with a bit of a background on http://thelink.space/event/perthcolator-workshop-idea-stage-startups-evening-sessions/ (which I believe is the problematic event).
Indeed, when I do look at http://thelink.space/event/perthcolator-workshop-designed-idea-stage-startups/all/, I am only seeing one event.
Is this because of your recurring events settings in Events -> Settings -> General or because the recurring events were actually removed (manually or otherwise).
Finally, is it possible your caching plugin is keeping these listed when they should not ?
Hang in there!
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Sally and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that you are facing the same issue as Robert while breaking an event from the series. I would love to help you with this topic.
As indicated in that other thread, it turns out this is not a new issue, but rather something that has been there for a while (without anybody noticing).
Unfortunately, there is no quick fix available for this. But the good news is that 4.5 should solve this once and for all.
In the meantime, short of deleting the series altogether and creating it again without the undesired event, there is no know workaround unfortunately.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
You will be contacted as soon as this issue is addressed.
Thank you for your understanding.

MemberGood afternoon Lorraine and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Is there any indication on when ticketing etc is likely to be available for WPML and Events Calendar Pro please?
If all goes according to plan, this should be part of 4.5 (which is scheduled around March).
With that in mind, there is currently some partial compatibility. You can get tickets to show up, but they are not true translations.
This means that they are actually 2 separate WooCommerce products that do not share the same stock. Is the WPML integration stable (please be straight with me – email if you want to – I’ve had enough of chasing around for a solution on the issues that I have!)
Yes, the WPML integration is stable with our free the Events Calendar and our premium the Events Calendar Pro add-on.
With that in mind, it is always possible that some glitches might need fixing along the way (as a normal part of WPML or us updating our respective plugins).
But, the good news is we have a very regular maintenance release program to address that.
Furthermore, we are working with the WPML team with the goal of having 100% compatibility and integration for all of our plugins.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the confusing license-related message you have bumped into.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am not exactly sure what happened there, but I would recommend disconnecting the license and adding it back. You can read all about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
In any case, the good news is that you are right: you do have the latest version!
Let me know how that goes.

MemberBonsoir Thierry,
Salutations,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Sam,
Thank you for the files.
I was able to install and test your theme and I have a couple of solutions for you:
- Head over to Appearance > Theme options > Blog settings and scroll all the way down. You can replace the word “Archive” by “Calendar”. The only downside is that this will impact all archives (if you have others on your site).
- You could customize the following file in your child theme: /wp-content/themes/HighendWP/includes/header-title.php around line 119 and a conditional for IF events-archive
I also wanted to alert to you to 1 more odd issue I’m also having.
-The formatting is messed up on the dashboard when I view my Events (see screenshot).
What is going there is that there are too many columns for a nice display to happen (mostly caused by Yoast columns).
You can control what columns appear by using the Screen options menu from any WP-Admin screen, including events.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Shadi,
Thank you for your answer.
Do you believe this will solved by the next maintenance release? in other words, have we really find out what’s the reason behind this, or this is still a work in progress?
That is a great question. Here is a recap of the situation just so that we are on the same page:
- Prior to the last Product release (4.4), the “Try to set order to autocomplete” feature was only working for a handful of customers who complained about that. Furthermore, even then, not all WooCommerce order status control plugins worked properly with tickets.
- As part of the Product release, some important changes were done to the “Try to set order to autocomplete” feature. This was overly aggressive (to say the least) because of the method used.
The goal of the maintenance release is
- Undo our last changes (so that it at least works exactly like the version we had)
- Make sure we do not bypass any of the normal WooCommerce purchase process (so that other WooCommerce plugins can hook into tickets)
- Refactor the code behind the “Try to set order to autocomplete” feature so that we our customers can control order status for their tickets.
Actually, I did mean https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-autocomplete-order/
The reason I suggested this is because, unless something has changed in WooCommerce, that snippet did work with version 4.3x of our plugins.
As for your other tests I will need to run them by Dev.
Hope this helps clarify things for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Valentina,
I will gladly answer your concerns
– My WP theme is Avada, is possible to know what could happen with this update?
Nothing will happen to Avada. These language files are simply related to the Events Calendar.
Worst case scenario, you can simply delete them if they do not work.– How can these files interact with the theme?
These files are not interacting with the theme, but they are with our plugins.
Basically, what I did is I changed the translation back from ‘tutti’ to ‘all’.
This will buy you some time and let URL show the English version.Once the official update is out (you will be contacted), you can delete these files.
Let me know if there is anything else.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
