GuestIs there any indication on when ticketing etc is likely to be available for WPML and Events Calendar Pro please?
Is the WPML integration stable (please be straight with me – email if you want to – I’ve had enough of chasing around for a solution on the issues that I have!)
Thanks

MemberGood afternoon Lorraine and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Is there any indication on when ticketing etc is likely to be available for WPML and Events Calendar Pro please?
If all goes according to plan, this should be part of 4.5 (which is scheduled around March).
With that in mind, there is currently some partial compatibility. You can get tickets to show up, but they are not true translations.
This means that they are actually 2 separate WooCommerce products that do not share the same stock. Is the WPML integration stable (please be straight with me – email if you want to – I’ve had enough of chasing around for a solution on the issues that I have!)
Yes, the WPML integration is stable with our free the Events Calendar and our premium the Events Calendar Pro add-on.
With that in mind, it is always possible that some glitches might need fixing along the way (as a normal part of WPML or us updating our respective plugins).
But, the good news is we have a very regular maintenance release program to address that.
Furthermore, we are working with the WPML team with the goal of having 100% compatibility and integration for all of our plugins.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

GuestThanks Geoff.
Well the next thing I need to do is try out the free version… I\’ll do
that in the next couple of days. One more question: Is there by any chance a loader to
upload events from a .csv file (just in case – not the end of the world
if there is nothing!)February 1, 2017 at 12:29 am #1227383Lorraine Pocklington
GuestPS really only wanting a one-off so having found the aggregator not sure if I want to pay the $89 – if the Calendar doesn’t work for me that will be $178 down the drain!! Thanks!

MemberGood evening Lorraine,
I am glad my answer helped.

Actually, there is a built-in CSV import functionality. Even in the free version.
You can read about it here:- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
The issue with that however is that it does not handle language assignment.
This means that you will likely need to assign languages manually after the import. So in short, you do not really need aggregator for now 🙂
Let me know how that goes.

GuestThanks Geoff, that’s fantastic. I’m feeling very encouraged, looking forward to ‘having a go’ with Events Calendar to see if I can sort out our problems that way.
All the best
