    Hi,

I’m a first time “Pro” user. I’m having the same issue as Kris where my default calendar page is title “archive”. See an example of it on my staging site by clicking here.

Do you need a .zip of my child theme, too?

    Warmly,
    Sam

Good evening Sam and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing that issue as well.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As you have read by now, this is usually caused by themes themselves.

If changing the setting for “Events Template” under Events -> Settings -> Display does not help, then yes, having a copy of your theme AND child theme will help get you started.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Sam,

    Thank you for the files.

I was able to install and test your theme and I have a couple of solutions for you:

    1. Head over to Appearance > Theme options > Blog settings and scroll all the way down. You can replace the word “Archive” by “Calendar”. The only downside is that this will impact all archives (if you have others on your site).
    2.  You could customize the following file in your child theme: /wp-content/themes/HighendWP/includes/header-title.php around line 119 and a conditional for IF events-archive

I also wanted to alert to you to 1 more odd issue I’m also having.

-The formatting is messed up on the dashboard when I view my Events (see screenshot).

What is going there is that there are too many columns for a nice display to happen (mostly caused by Yoast columns).

You can control what columns appear by using the Screen options menu from any WP-Admin screen, including events.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
