Hi, Suzie. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

I’m guessing you will need to go to wp-admin > WooCommerce > Orders and mark this order as “Complete”

Please let me know how this goes for you.

    Hi, Michael.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

Our plugin creates one master calendar per site, but you can create the appearance of multiple calendars by using Event Categories.

    Examples:

There are additional methods and documentation at our Can You Have Multiple Calendars? KB article.

However, if each calendar will be standalone (i.e. events not shared with each other’s calendars), you actually might be able to accomplish this via a WordPress multisite setup.

You might also be interested in our Community Tickets solution (although you’d need to get approved for PayPal’s split/adaptive payments before being able to use it).

Please let me know if this clarifies things for you. Sharing additional use case specifics might help me advise you more specifically.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

Hi, Michael. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

Simply for reference, I just answered another user’s question about how to get Outlook to process the iCal file differently (how to import events to an existing calendar instead of sideloaded as an additional/separate calendar)… so reading the iCal is working for them.

I see you’re not on the latest versions of our plugins. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Also, please share the iCal URL / .ics file you’re having an issue with.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Johnny.

Andras is out right now, but I’m happy to help you.

iCal files are written according to the iCalendar specifications but are processed by each piece of software in its own way. This could be how your Outlook preferences are set, specific to your version of Outlook, or maybe even operate differently in Outlook on Windows vs Outlook on Mac.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

    Thanks for your detailed reply.

I’m not sure what that email address is — maybe it’s the “reply to forum threads via email” address… but yes, send to the email I provided in that other thread please.

Feel free to post the full email here in a Private Reply if you haven’t heard back within 2 business days.

    Thanks for sharing that!

Could both of you please share the URL(s) you’re trying to import from so I can try to replicate this issue?

    Hi, Sarah.

    Thanks for your detailed question.

Yes because when a visitor is logged-in when they create an Event, Organizer, or Venue via the Community Events form, they are assigned as the author of that event in the WordPress database.

A logged-in user’s list of created Events is available at your-site-com/events/community/list/, which pulls the Events of which they are the author.

If an Event was created by an Anonymous submission, their account won’t be the author and therefore won’t show up in their your-site-com/events/community/list/ if they do later create an account.

I hope this clears things up. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Jeremy.

We do not have such permissioning functionality.

However, if you already have the Events Categories viewing permissions functionality in place, you could customize this file to control which category(ies) the Community Events form should make available: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/modules/taxonomy.php

Please reference our Themer’s Guide for how to get started with such a customization.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

The fact that your event starts at 4PM New York time means the screenshot I shared of 8PM is accurate because it is 8PM UTC:

    “startDate”:”2017-05-26T20:00:00+00:00″,”endDate”:”2017-05-29T18:00:00+00:00″

    The “+00:00” means UTC time.

Event Aggregator is built into our free/core The Events Calendar plugin so if you got a fresh copy from https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/, then it should not be reporting this error. It sounds like you’re pretty clear about this so maybe you need to clear your server’s Varnish cache or your browser’s cache or something like that.

Would you be able to share an annotated screenshot, screen capture video, and/or relevant URLs to clarify exactly what’s happening here?

Hi. I tried reproducing this but could not. Here’s a 1 minute video demonstrating how it worked for me on a custom post type: https://cl.ly/200P0G3r3q0S

I’d suggest playing with some of the settings, maybe date formats or language settings. If not, then I’d suggest following these general troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available.

Then, please re-hare your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Hi.

This functionality was released as “Other URL” import in version 4.5

Please delete The Events Calendar free/core plugin and then reinstall a fresh version from the wp-admin plugin installer.

Deleting The Events Calendar or its add-on plugins will NOT delete any of your data if you delete it via the WordPress plugin manager because that’s how we’ve decided to code our plugin.

FYI: deleting any plugin via FTP or cPanel’s File Manager (i.e. deleting just the files from the server) will also ensure a plugin gets deleted (if you delete the entire plugin folder) without removing any data from the database. This can sometimes be helpful to know in cases where a plugin does run an uninstall routine to delete data (again, our plugins do not run such a routine at this time and probably never will).

You can also see the difference when you click to delete a plugin, like this.
