I’m having the same issues as several other’s I’ve seen here in the support threads, but I can’t seem to tell if or how it was ever resolved.
The issue is that the Ticket purchase box is not showing on the event.
Here’s the event: https://churchhealth.org/event/energizing-chair-yoga-spring-series/
I’m also noticing that the event is marked as a “Draft” in the Eventbrite section, but when I change that, and save the event it goes back to “Draft”.
I was having this same issue with another event earlier, and I have no idea what I did, but that one started working: https://churchhealth.org/event/mixed-level-stott-pilates-circuit-morning-spring-series/2017-05-03/
I’ve disabled all plugins, switched to 2014 theme, etc. and I’m still having this problem. What might I be missing?
May 4, 2017 at 10:29 am #1278721CliffMemberHi, Tracy. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
The Eventbrite event needs to be Published/Live and Public for the Eventbrite Tickets to display.
Please provide a link to the Eventbrite event so I can look into it further.
May 4, 2017 at 10:33 am #1278722tracyloveParticipantThanks Cliff,
The even is live and public. Here’s the link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/energizing-chair-yoga-drop-in-class-tickets-32727017390
May 4, 2017 at 10:34 am #1278727tracyloveParticipantP.S. The sales have ended for that event, but it was live and public and tickets were still available when we posted the event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/energizing-chair-yoga-drop-in-class-tickets-32727017390
May 4, 2017 at 10:38 am #1278732CliffMemberThanks for the quick reply.
Is there another event this is happening for that is a future/upcoming event? I won’t be able to test if the event is past (because then Eventbrite won’t have tickets for it)?
May 4, 2017 at 10:46 am #1278735tracyloveParticipantSure, This event is upcoming: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mixed-level-stott-pilates-circuit-morning-drop-in-class-tickets-32728610154
It is also set up in the Event Calendar and not displaying tickets on the front-end.: https://churchhealth.org/event/mixed-level-stott-pilates-circuit-morning-spring-series/2017-05-03/
May 4, 2017 at 12:34 pm #1278790CliffMemberThat Eventbrite event says Sales Ended: https://cl.ly/3t3v373h2O2w
Is there a different one?

May 8, 2017 at 9:53 am #1280327CliffMemberYour screenshot shows this Eventbrite event is in Draft status.
I just imported this Eventbrite event and it got imported as Draft status for me as well. I’m unsure why the link is visible to me (not logged in as you) on Eventbrite’s website if it’s Draft.
Please try to publish it Live on Eventbrite’s website. If it already is, please provide a screenshot of the Eventbrite’s admin screen for this event.
Thanks for your effort here.
May 8, 2017 at 2:03 pm #1280468tracyloveParticipantThe event is NOT a draft on EventBrite’s website. That’s the point. It is already published live on EventBrite, but when we import it on our site, it imports as “draft”, and it won’t allow us to change it. If we try, and then click on “update”, it reverts back to “Draft” again.
May 9, 2017 at 4:00 pm #1281331CliffMemberThanks for your patience. Here’s what I’ve found out…
This is the API call URL: https://www.eventbriteapi.com/v3/events/32736564947/?token=YOUR_TOKEN_HERE
And here’s the response: https://cl.ly/3n1G2z1N2v3p
And here’s what gets saved in the postmeta table: https://cl.ly/3c102K2P3l09
The issue here is that Eventbrite’s API returns the “status” as “started”.
I’ve tested a couple other Eventbrite events and didn’t see the status as “started”.
Our Eventbrite Tickets add-on is displaying “Draft” status if it doesn’t recognize the API’s returned status.
I didn’t find “status” in their API documentation so please contact Eventbrite’s support about this issue and report back.
Thank you.
May 10, 2017 at 4:54 am #1281537tracyloveParticipantSo are you saying that other EventBrite plugin users aren’t experiencing this same issue? We are the only ones?
I mean, does your plugin normally sync with EventBrite events even after the event has already started?
And I’m not understanding why you are asking me to contact EventBrite to modify their API to make it work with your plugin. Are you saying there is a malfunction on EventBrite and we are the only one of your customers who are affected?
