    Hi Jaakko!

Thanks for coming back with that information.

The screenshot you shared before is not for database queries. Could you please share with us a screenshot of the Queries by Caller and Queries by Component information from query monitor when navigating that event?

Does query monitor flags a slow query when on that page? If so, please also share a screenshot of that particular query.

You mentioned that you tried deactivating all other plugins. Have you tried switching to a default theme (like twenty seventeen) to see if any difference?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Ben!

Unfortunately, we don’t provide custom development services like that.

You can add that as a feature idea in our user voice here > https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas so other users can vote for it.

Let me know if you need help elaborating that idea before posting it and I’d be happy to help.

    Hi Jaakko!

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

That seems a strange issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.

First, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

I see you have tried the following:

    • Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
    • Switched to a default theme? Yes

Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference or see that slow query?

If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting.

Please let me know about that.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi There!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with the troubleshooting.

First, we were not able to import your system information. Could you please go to Events > Help in your WordPress dashboard and copy your system information below. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

I tried to see the issue for myself in the website you provided but I don’t see any events created. Could you please share with us a link to a page where we can see the issue for ourselves? I will have a closer inspection to see if I can find any css conflicts.

Additionally, please try deactivating all other plugins and see if any difference with only our plugins activated.

Please let me know about that.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Paulo!

Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with that issue.

By default, WordPress posts are ordered that way (oldest first). I made a few tests using a default theme like twenty seventeen and I could not recreate a scenario where Events Calendar PRO would modify the posts order.

If you experience a different behaviour with your theme, this could be a conflict. Just to confirm, could you please switch to a default theme and see if it works correctly? Please let me know about it.

Hi Steve! Thanks for chiming in here. Tag archives will show events and posts ordered by post date and not event start date. Let me point you to the following article about tags > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-tags/

On the other hand, event categories are only for events and they do make use of our own template system, so they are ordered by the event start date.

I hope that helps. If you have any follow up questions please open a new topic. This will allow us to keep things separate and ensure we give the proper support to each of the topics.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Ramakanta!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with that.

I’m not really sure I understand exactly what you want to accomplish, but I don’t think that’s a built in functionality of our plugins.

Could you please explain this and give an example of what you want to achieve? While we are limited in how much we can support custom development questions, I will try to see if there is a way to get that functionality and at least point you in the right direction.

    Let me know about it.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Ben!

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Charging money for a featured event submission is not a built-in functionality of our plugins.

You might want to check our Community Tickets plugin > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/ that extends the functionality of our Community Events and Event Tickets Plus so that visitors can create and sell tickets for the events they submit to your calendar, without needing to access your WordPress admin dashboard.

With Community Tickets you can collect ticket fees on a per-ticket or per-sale basis and also has a Split-Payment Option that allows you to split the ticket revenue between your site and the event organizer at the time of ticket purchase.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions and I’ll be happy to help 🙂

    Hi Mike!

Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with those questions.

    1. You can get a preview of an event selling tickets in our demo site > https://wpshindig.com/event/event-tickets-demo/ In addition, you can see some screenshots for our Event Tickets plugin here > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
Let me also point you to the following article that will get you started on how to set up tickets for your events > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-event-tickets/ so you can get a sense of the process of making tickets for your events.
    2. Ticket images are attached in the ticket email that gets sent to the user when they purchase a ticket. We also have the following extension that allows you to attach the tickets as PDF > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/pdf-tickets/

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to help.

    Hi Simon!

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that issue.

First, could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

Also, please send us a link to the page where you are experiencing the issue so we can test it on our end.

It’s good you tested out by deactivating all other plugins, could you please switch to a default theme like twenty seventeen and see if any difference?

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ryan!

Thanks for reaching out to us!

While I don’t know the specifics of what you want to accomplish, if you want to create a custom theme using Bootstrap, you can do so and should not affect how our plugins work with it.

Of course, some conflicts can occur as with any other theme our there, but I know some themes are built using Bootstrap and they have no problem integrating with our plugins.

We do not provide custom development services like this. You can refer the following list of customizers for that task > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Please note that this list is provided as a courtesy to our customers, and we make no guarantees of any kind regarding the listed entities. Modern Tribe is unable to assist with any disputes related to work contracted from third-party agencies or developers.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Hi Steve!

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

We have shipped a hotfix for Events Calendar PRO 4.4.20.1 that addresses an issue with the order of events not being correct.

I can see that you are now using this last version, could you please try switching to a default theme and see if you still experience this behaviour? If so, please also try following the rest of the steps in our testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ to make sure we are not dealing with any theme or plugin conflict.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Hi Tony!

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you with this. I’ve been out for some days and could not look into this sooner.

Good to know you could clear the database connections issue by downgrading to 4.4.18.

I have just checked our internal report on the performance issue and it’s still in progress, so we haven’t been able to completely solve it. It seems to be a problem specifically for users with a high number of venues.

I have linked this thread to that report so we’ll notify you once it’s fixed. I can’t commit to a date for this issue, but it’s likely to be fixed in our next maintenance release as it’s of high priority to us.

For the moment, I’d recommend you stay with your current version of Events Calendar PRO 4.4.18 and wait until we ship the fix.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Best,
    Victor
