    Hello,

    I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out!

    First, can you verify that you have the correct timezone set under Settings > General > Timezone?

    Can you please send me the link that you’re importing from so that I can test it out on my end?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The Events Calendar will allow you to import from CSV files, but to import from Eventbrite, you would need Event Aggregator (which also allows you to import from other sources like Google calendars and Meetup) or Eventbrite Tickets.

    Eventbrite Tickets will let you sync events between your site calendar and Eventbrite, and you can also display Eventbrite tickets on your site.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Aggregator or Eventbrite Tickets for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Christopher,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    While tickets will typically work pretty well out-of-the-box with many WooCommerce extensions, the default ticket form that appears on events will not integrate automatically with these extensions. You can do the integration yourself by overriding the template, but you might instead want to look at using the default WooCommerce product page to sell tickets instead of the form that comes with Event Tickets Plus. These extensions are built to modify the product page, so they should work automatically when using that page.

    Regarding using SUMO vs WooCommerce Deposits, I haven’t used SUMO and am not too familiar with WooCommerce Deposits – if you can would recommend trying them both out in a testing environment to see which one will work better for you.

    We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations and integrations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Christine!

    I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.

    I see that you’re running the current versions of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus, but the version of WordPress that you’re running is quite a bit older. Can you first try updating to the current version (4.9.6) and see if that gets things working?

    I would recommend making a full backup of your site and doing this update first in a testing environment, just to be on the extra-safe side.

    Please let me know how this goes!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Talei,

    Thanks for reaching out! I am glad to hear that most everything is working well for you so far!

    First, I do need to point out that extensions (like List Venues and Organizers Shortcodes) are not supported. However, we do our best to fix issues when they do crop.

    Can you please tell me the exact shortcode that you’re using so that I can test it out on my end? When you enter this shortcode, is it showing up on the frontend instead of the results, or is it being ignored entirely? Can you enable WP_DEBUG and try again to see if you get any errors? If so, please copy/paste them into your reply.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Piotr,

    I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue. We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for CSS issues, but I took a look at your page, and it looks like this is coming from a CSS issue with your theme – however, I think this will solve the problem (see screenshot):

    input[type='checkbox'] {
    -webkit-appearance: checkbox;
    }

    Can you try adding that to the Additional CSS area under Appearance > Customize (if you have one) or to the style.css file of your child theme?

    Let me know if that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for checking out our plugins!

    Community Events creates a front-end form that allows users to submit events without having access to the backend of your site, and Community Tickets will allow them to create and sell tickets on those events.

    I am not familiar with the WCFM plugin, but Community Tickets can integrate with WooCommerce (via Event Tickets Plus). You might be able to get these integrated, but you would need to do some testing to make sure that you could get things working exactly the way that you need.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take any of our premium plugins for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Gil,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Community Tickets will let you charge a fee for tickets sold on community events, but Community Events does not currently include an out-of-the-box way to charge users for event submissions (although we are working on adding this in the future).

    You can require users to be logged in to submit events, so one thing you could do is use a third-party plugin like WooCommerce Memberships to charge users for the ability to login and submit events. You might also look at a plugin like this one, which you might be able to integrate with Community Events to get what you’re looking for. This would require some testing to make sure that you can get it working exactly the way that you need.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Pien,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction here.

    To customize the event details, you will need to do a template override, which you will find some instructions on here. You will find the single event template under wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php.

    For the additional fields, you will find the template at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/modules/meta/additional-fields.php.

    You might also find this article on changing strings helpful, and the Say What? plugin can help with this as well.

    Please let me know if you get stuck on anything or have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    I’m sorry that you’ve had such a difficult time working on this customization; I definitely understand how frustrating that can be.

    Unfortunately custom coding is not something that is covered in our Help Desk, as outlined here in our forum guidelines. In order to ensure that bug reports and questions on using our plugin features are addressed in a timely manner, we simply do not have the resources to be able to provide custom code as part of our standard premium support policy.

    However, we do love to help out whenever we have the resources to do so! If you’d like, what I can do is flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.

    In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share that will help us to better understand what you are looking for, feel free to add it to this thread.

    We do our best to update our documentation as things change, but if you have found documentation that is out of date, we would definitely appreciate it if you could let us know which articles you are referring to so that we can get them updated!

    Regarding adding this to core, please do post this as a feature request over in our Feature Ideas Forum if this is something that you would like to see happen in the future. This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Thanks for sending that link! I tested it out in my local environment, and I was able to import using the “iCalendar” option (see screenshot). Which option were you using when trying to import? Can you give it a try with “iCalendar” and see if it works?

    For Google calendars, you’ll want to select the “Google calendar” option. If you have a Google calendar that you’re not able to import from, please send me that link as well so that I can test it out.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    I am seeing the title above the calendar now (see screenshot). Is this the calendar you’re referring to? If you’re looking at something on a different page, can you send me a direct link to that page?

    For the navigation issue that Mathew mentioned, try adding this to the Additional CSS area under Appearance > Customize (if you have one) or to the style.css file of your child theme:

    .tribe-events-sub-nav {
    height: 60px;
    }

    Let me know if this gets things working for you!

    Hi Don,

    Thanks for running through that testing! I took a look at the dev site, and I see that this is not happening on your main calendar page, and that the page where this is happening is using the [tribe_events] shortcode. I did some further testing on my end, and I was able to recreate this issue using the shortcode. I am logging this for our developers to take a look at, and we will let you know here as soon as we have an update.

    I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved!
