    Hi-

I recently purchased Event Aggregator and have now realized that what I need instead is Eventbrite tickets.

Is it possible to switch the licence from one to the other?

I downloaded eventbrite tickets and added it to my site. It doesn’t seem to be connecting with the events calendar. Do I need to remove aggrivator for it to work?

    Hello,

You actually need The Events Calendar (which has Event Aggregator built-in) to sync with Eventbrite, so no need to remove anything! Can you make sure that you’re running the current version of The Events Calendar (4.6.19) and share your full system info with me? I would also recommend taking a look at this article to make sure that everything has been configured correctly.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Thanks for sending that over!

We did just put out a maintenance release, so I would first recommend updating to the current versions:

    The Events Calendar 4.6.20.1

    Events Calendar Pro 4.4.29.1

    WordPress 4.9.7

Can you tell me what is happening when you try to import events from Eventbrite? Are you seeing any messages? If so, can you please copy/paste them here or send a screenshot?

I am not able to upload any events. When I go to the upload tab, it tells me I need to purchase Event Aggregator which we exchanged for Eventbrite Tickets.

It doesn’t seem to know Eventrbrite tickets is there.

Can you provide some feedback on the above problem?

    Hello,

We just made some updates on the Event Aggregator server – can you give it another try now and let me know if it works for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    I am making some progress.

The calendar now seems to be able to find Eventbrite Events.

But when I try to connect to Eventbrite, it still wants to use Event Aggrigator, so I am getting a bad licence error message.

I am now able to import via Eventbrite tickets.

It was my understanding that Eventbrite tickets would enable our customers to register right from the calendar. Is that correct? If yes, how do I get that set up?

I’m glad that the import is working now!

The tickets for Eventbrite events should display on the imported event, and users can click to purchase tickets. The actual checkout and registration will happen through eventbrite.com. This article has some good information on adding tickets to Eventbrite events.

Are the tickets you’ve created not showing up on the front end of your imported events? If not, can you please send me a link to an event where this is happening, along with a link to the corresponding event on eventbrite.com?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Still no luck.

Here is a link of an event that doesn’t seem to have the register function.
    https://kidcreatestudio.com/event/pirates-and-mermaids-camp-4-9-years/

Here is the corresponding event in eventbrite-
    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pirates-and-mermaids-camp-4-9-years-registration-47175747932

Also, in the calendar view, there doesn’t seem to be a way to click on the event to get to the page view. Is that something that can be changed?

    Thanks for sending those links.

I am seeing the tickets on that page (see screenshot) – were you able to get this resolved?

I took a look at your calendar (https://kidcreatestudio.com/events/), but I am able to click on the event titles to go to the single event page. Were you able to get this part resolved as well?

If you’re not seeing the same thing on your end, can you tell me which browser you’re using (and which version of that browser)?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

I didn’t change anything, but it does seem to be working now.

    Another question-
Can you tell me why Unpublished events are now showing up on our calendar? And can we change that? Any event that starts with TEMPLATE is unpublished in Eventbrite.
