Venues & Organisers Shortcode / Not Appearing

Hi there 🙂

I’ve installed Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets and Events Tickets Plus, with all working pretty seamlessly. However not having the same results with the List of Venues & Organisers plugin – dang!

For some reason, when using associated shortcodes, no results are showing up. Please note, I have 4 venues and 4 organisers published.

Please find my troubleshooting outlined below – doesn’t appear to be an issue with the theme?

+ All plugins, themes up to date.
+ I’ve tested other Events Calendar shortcodes = populates/successful
+ I’ve tested the Twenty Fifteenand Twenty Seventeen themes = blank/unsuccessful
+ Cleared browser cache
+ Cleared server cache

Any ideas folks? Would love a helping hand!

(Noticed Version 2.0.0 was a significant rewrite – do you think a fix is required?)

Hi Talei,

Thanks for reaching out! I am glad to hear that most everything is working well for you so far!

First, I do need to point out that extensions (like List Venues and Organizers Shortcodes) are not supported. However, we do our best to fix issues when they do crop.

Can you please tell me the exact shortcode that you’re using so that I can test it out on my end? When you enter this shortcode, is it showing up on the frontend instead of the results, or is it being ignored entirely? Can you enable WP_DEBUG and try again to see if you get any errors? If so, please copy/paste them into your reply.

Following up:

+ I’m using the following shortcodes:
[list_venues]
[list_venues]

+ When I enter these shortcodes, they are ignored entirely / nothing visible on frontend.

+I’ve enabled DEBUG and I see 2 PHP errors, both for line 213. Please refer to attached screengrab.

Mmmm, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for sending the screenshot and shortcodes! I did some testing on my end, but they are displaying correctly for me…can you check to see if they are working for you in a default environment (all other plugins besides The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and the List Venues/Organizers extension are disabled and the Twenty Seventeen theme is enabled)? If so, then you’ll want to enable each of your plugins and your theme one at a time to see when the issue reappears.
