ParticipantEvents Calendar Pro doesn’t display the Events for June on top of Month view. Not a big problem. This is the only view that we use. When using side arrows or Events in 2018— and going 3+ months out error message occurs on top of Plugin with message The requested date “Array” was not valid. Showing the current month instead. The calendar is now locked on current month.
Doing a screen refresh at this point in time unlocks everything. Events for June shown at top, months can be scrolled out/back. Everything appears normal until you leave page and return. Then function described above is back. Repeatable.
We do have a couple of line of css in our theme pertaining to Events Calendar Pro
Must be logged on to site to see schedule. You can use userid = temp1 with password @Temp1 to log on. This is a dev site so have at it.June 26, 2018 at 12:11 am #1561360Jennifer
KeymasterHi Don,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you out.
Can you first try running through the steps outlined here to check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin?
Aside from the CSS, do you have any other customizations to our plugins, such as a template override or a snippet in your functions.php file?

KeymasterHi Don,
Thanks for running through that testing! I took a look at the dev site, and I see that this is not happening on your main calendar page, and that the page where this is happening is using the [tribe_events] shortcode. I did some further testing on my end, and I was able to recreate this issue using the shortcode. I am logging this for our developers to take a look at, and we will let you know here as soon as we have an update.
I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved!

ParticipantWe are critically dependent on The Events Calendar Pro plug in. The main purpose for our web site is scheduling. I see we just got an update but our problem is still present. Please – any status on what is happening to resolve

KeymasterHi Don,
We actually just put out a maintenance release that should have resolved this issue. Can you please update to the following versions:
The Events Calendar 4.6.20.1
Events Calendar Pro 4.4.29.1
WordPress 4.9.7
Make sure to disable the “enable month view cache” option under Events > Settings > Display and clear out your cache within W3 Total Cache after updating. Let me know if this fixes the issue!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer and while the maintenance release you mentioned slightly changed our symptoms a problem still existed. I modified the “enable month view cache” setting you suggested and cleared all the cache. The https://ffla-sandiego.org/dev/events/month/ website is still there with all the other plugins disabled for your testing if necessary.
The month display is still not correct. When you page forward to November, December doesn’t show up. If you go to the “Events In box” you can get to December, which displays the correct data. When you do a refresh at this setting you now get the correct display and everything work OK until you leave the page and return. Then all problems are back. Sorry but as I’ve stated our organization lives on these pages and we need them in perfect condition. Thanks Don PillerJuly 16, 2018 at 2:24 pm #1576572Jennifer
KeymasterHi Don,
I apologize for the further issues here! This issue with the shortcode is a separate issue from the original one, but we are actively working on getting this resolved. This thread is linked to our internal ticket for this issue as well, so as soon as we have an update (which should be soon, although I don’t have an exact date), we will let you know here.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer, sorry to be a pest but as I’ve stated before our website is really dependent on Events Calendar Pro. I ran update 4.4.30 and the problem is still present. You mentioned earlier about it is tied into using the shortcode vs. the Events page? Provided that using the Events page would really fix the situation I would consider redoing our current Schedule page and somehow splitting it into two page, but I’d like some assurance that doing this would correct the situation? Any ideas or guesses regarding when we can expect a fix as many of our people are starting to set out their fall schedules and I’m getting calls that they are having problems. Any assistance would be appreciated. Don Piller

KeymasterHi Don,
I just checked on our internal ticket for this. It looks like the fix has been developed and <i>should </i>go out in the next release, but I cannot make any guarantees here and don’t have an ETA yet on the next release, although it will likely be in the next two weeks.
Regarding splitting your events page, there really isn’t a way to split the default page, but the category pages that are created automatically might be an option.

MemberHi Don!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue 🙂
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/release-event-tickets-4-8-event-tickets-plus-4-8/
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.
Please update the plugins and let us know if the fix works for your site.
Best,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
