    Hi Rick,

Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you figure out what’s going on here.

I took a look at one of your event pages, and it looks like you are indeed missing a few sections. You said you do think there is a theme conflict – were you able to get the sections back by switching to a default WordPress theme? Thanks for completing these troubleshooting steps in advance by the way!

Could you take a look in your current theme and see if you have a folder named tribe-events (/wp-content/themes/[your-theme]/tribe-events/)? Are there any template files in it? If so, can you please copy and paste those into a private reply (be sure to include the name of the file).

I am wondering if there were some customizations made that are overriding our default templates. You may also try going into Events > Settings > Display and changing the setting for Events template and see if that makes any difference.

    Thanks!

    Jennifer

    Hi Martino,

Thanks so much for sharing this! I believe our developers are looking over that thread now, so hopefully we can move forward with offering this to all of our users here soon.

    Hi Dustin,

Thanks for installing Event Tickets Pro! The QR code should be in the emails, and you are right that we do have a plugin to hide it from emails.

Before we dive into this, could you please post this issue over in our Event Tickets Plus forum? We try to keep this Pre-Sales forum limited to pre-sales questions, but we will be happy to help you over there! When you do post, please share your system information with us so that we can see if there is anything there that could be causing this problem. Testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins is also a great first step in troubleshooting.

    Thanks!

Awesome! I’m glad that worked for you.

I’ll go ahead and close out this ticket, but please feel free to open a new one if you need any further assistance!

    Thanks,

    Hi Sacha,

There is currently no way to group or package different events. In order to “force” users to buy multiple classes at once, they would really all need to have the same ticket, which can be achieved using recurring events (even though your classes are not actually recurring events)…the downside here though is that each class would have the same title, description, etc.

So in order to create separate classes that all build on each other as you described, I believe you would need to separate them out into individual events.

Event Tickets Plus is what you would need if you are charging for registrations – otherwise, Event Tickets will allow users to RSVP for your events (free).

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you, but I hope this helps!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Brandon,

I’m glad you found the source of the issue. I believe this has also been the case in the past where other users had issues using W3 Total Cache with our plugins.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Karoliina,

    Thanks for reaching out!

These features are not built into our core The Events Calendar plugin, but they are included in Filter Bar. This will let users filter by a wide variety of parameters, including sub-categories. You can also configure the filters and allow users to select multiple categories. (There is a small bug with configuring active filters at the moment, which will currently mean that users can only select one category at a time. However, the fix for this is expected to be released soon – within the next two maintenance releases – sorry for the inconvenience here!)

This will work with any of your views, and users can still search by venues or name as they can now. We also offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the plugins, so feel free to test it out!

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry to hear that you lost your customizations. However, I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

First, I took a look at your system info (thanks for sharing that!), and it looks like The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro are both active on your site. Are you missing The Events Calendar folder (the-events-calendar) or the Pro folder (events-calendar-pro), or both?

It is strange that you wouldn’t see these folders in wp-content/plugins. Could you send me a screenshot (in a private reply) of what you are seeing in that folder?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jochem,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

While we cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with any theme, many of our users do use our plugins with Divi. We try to address conflicts when we find them (for example, there is a known issue with pagination in Divi for which we have provided a fix).

Otherwise, there is no additional setup required to use our plugins with Divi! If you are using the Divi page builder, I do want to note that it isn’t available on custom post types out of the box, so it will not work on the events pages.

If you do run into conflicts, being a premium license holder, you would have access to our premium support forums where we are happy to help troubleshoot.

Finally, we do offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to test it out!

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Events Calendar Pro has some great features like shortcodes, map and photo views, and recurring events, but it isn’t the plugin that offers the features you mentioned…

RSVP (free) registrations can be added via the Event Tickets plugin, and paid tickets can be added with Event Tickets Plus. You can set up custom fields for attendees to fill out during registration on each event (RSVPs or paid tickets) with Event Tickets Plus.

You can customize the email templates by following the instructions in our themer’s guide, and they do contain some event-specific information (event date, time, title, venue, etc.), but much beyond that, we are getting into code customizations. We do not currently do customizations, but our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our plugins. With the purchase of a premium license, you have access to our premium support forums where we are always happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction.

Regarding management of registered emails, if you are referring to users who sign up or buy tickets for events, we have a great article that outlines management of orders and attendees.

So with the features you’ve outlined, the only plugin you would need to buy is Event Tickets Plus, if you would like to sell tickets. The Events Calendar, which is the “base” of all of our other plugins and extensions and is required to use them, is free!

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately this is not currently supported, but you can definitely request it as a new feature over in our Feature Ideas forum!

In the meantime, you could hide the end times and dates with CSS. The class you’ll want to target is: .tribe-event-date-end However, this is not the cleanest solution, especially if you need to do this to many events.

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Aleksandr,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The source file depends on which view you’re trying to customize…That wording actually comes from the tribe_events_title() function that you will find in (I believe all) of the view templates – month, list, photo, etc. You can customize them by copying them into your child theme and following the instructions in our themer’s guide. Look for this line:

    <?php echo tribe_get_events_title() ?>

You’ll want to replace <?php echo tribe_get_events_title() ?> with your new text.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jane,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’d be happy to help you get this changed, but could you please send me links to the page with the shortcode and to your main events page? I’ll take a look and see what I can suggest!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
